We were visiting the area with our small dog to go meet the manatees at Three Sisters Springs. Our day, however, required our small dog to say behind, and since we were staying at a hotel, we were in need of a dog daycare. After researching a handful of the higher rated dog daycare facilities in the area, we found Citrus Pawville and gave them a call. From the moment Amani answered the phone and assisted us with our questions, we were put at ease. We had a unique situation where since we'd be traveling in from out of town, with a demanding timeframe before we'd leave again, we wouldn't be able to do a standard evaluation for our dog prior to her daycare stay. Amani went above and beyond to accommodate our special request for our visit. So, we made our a daycare reservation for our dog and emailed our paperwork ahead. The morning came, and we arrived to check our dog in for her daycare. We were warmly greeted by Antonio, and he assisted us in getting our dog situated. Sydney then came to greet us and was even gracious enough to give us a small tour of where our dog would be staying for her daycare while we were out kayaking with the manatees. Our small dog is a sweet and shy senior with arthritis and some other specific needs, and Antonio assured us she'd be getting more one on one time with their daycare attendant rather than group play. We appreciated these options and the small touches they offered for our senior girl. It really put our minds at ease. They even sent us a report card with two sweet photos of our girl while we were out, and her body language stated to us that she was not in distress and was enjoying her daycare. Thanks to the Citrus Pawville staff, we were able to enjoy our time kayaking with the mantees and was able to rest assured that she was in good and caring hands. When we picked up our girl, she was happy and unchanged (other than a little tired from play, of course). We highly recommend Citrus Pawville if you're looking for a caring daycare for your pet. My husband and I are very particular about groomers for our fur babies after having a bad experience at one place where they drugged our Lab without our knowledge and consent because she was barking in their cage. Needless to say it left a bad taste in our mouth and leary of groomers. After we were dissatisfied with another company we found Citrus Pawville. Our dogs have been going there to get groomed for over five years now and we have never had a complaint about how they groom our babies. In fact, they're extra cautious with our Lab who's now 9 1/2 years old and has arthritis in her back and hips. Their cost for a bath plus nail trim and glands cleaning is extremely reasonable in my opinion. Our little Chiweenie who's a whopping seven pounds gets his bath at home but needs his nails trimmed frequently. He is a nervous little man who shivers and shakes when he gets in the car to go anywhere to get anything done. That being said you can imagine the difficulty of trimming little nails on a shaking little dog but the great thing is Citrus Pawville uses a dremel on their nails! No accidental cutting too short and best of all not traumatic at all to our pets! Today to have both our fur babies nails trimmed cost us $16!! A bargain!! Their staff is super friendly and genuinely happy to see their clients! They love on our dogs like they were theirs which puts us at ease. We trust them and they know that as soon as they're done with our big girl to call us and we will pick her up right away! Best of all Citrus Pawville is only about seven minutes away from our home!! Not only does Citrus Pawville have grooming services, they offer Doggy Daycare and Boarding services for both dogs and cats along with some training classes!! When you walk inside they have a pet boutique on one side. They sell pet food and treats plus a vast array of pet themed novelty items. Of course toys for your fur babies are always available. They are definitely pet friendly and pet focused not only inside their building but outside too!! They have a pet "Waste Station" for their customers next to their private parking lot. It has a dispenser for plastic poo poo bags and a waste receptacle to place those full bags in! I highly recommend Citrus Pawville for your fur babies, I'm sure you will receive the same care and quality that they give to us. I would give 4 1/2 stars if I could!! read more

I have boarded my 3 year old Rottweiler here many times. Although I'm sure she'd rather go on a road trip, because she is very attached to us, she always walks right in and wags when we arrive so I don't feel sad leaving her here. I always reserve the large townhouse as she is 100 lbs and have them cut her nails. They are great about sending "report cards" which include a pic along with how her day is going. The staff is always super nice. They seem like they are enjoying their day and loving their jobs. read more

Stay away.....went on vacation for 7 days only to return to find that 2 out of my 3 dogs were sick and that the staff never alerted me or my vet. On top of that the person who was to give a daily update lied saying that the dogs were happy and chippy.....farthest from the truth. When I came home, all the dogs looked drained, tired and smelled like dog poop ......where I had to endure dog vet bills because of their neglect. read more

Great place to take your 4 legged love ones, from the great service to there boarding. You have to check out the boarding kennels to believe how nice your pet has it when your away. Crissy is one of the best handlers they have. There salon does a fantastic job in bathing, nail clipping, cleaning ears and everything else. We bring are favorite shampoo with us, takes couple hours depending how busy they are. Give them a try you will not regret it! read more

We have been taking our three girls (dogs) to Pawville for almost 5 years and never worry about them while we are away. Everyone truly cares about the pets left in their care and it shows. Thank you, Citrus Pawville, for taking care of a little problem we tend to have with one of our Boston terriers. I won't go into too much detail, but it has to do with a certain couple of glands near the rear-end of your dog. They do walk-ins for this! Yay! They were very courteous and professional. My dog is shy, but they made him feel as at ease as possible for that type of procedure. He wasn't thrilled, but the process got done. I would recommend them for your grooming needs. Called to see price for grooming a Hungarian Puli who is a shaved and very easy to groom and was quoted a price of $65.00. Two other groomers I used charged $45 and $51 a dog. I am wondering if she is familiar with the breed? They only weigh 40 lbs and are on the short side. It makes no sense to me. Their service cannot be that much different than other groomers. It's a rare breed that some groomer have never groomed before They usually have dread locks to the floor but mine do not. They are older and the heat bothers them. Well it just baffled me how they can be so far out of line with other groomers. They are very close too my home also. read more

Very unprofessional! Groomer canceled at the last minute twice, once without notification! Then showed up last when I finally got her to show up at all. Then she insulted my baby by saying he needed to be on a diet! Then overcharged me & would not give an explanation as to why! Save your money & go elsewhere! read more

We chose this place because they allow drop in tours, no appointment required. We showed up on a random weekday and were immediately shown around. They seem to be very well staffed and the facility was clean, not even any doggy odor. We booked our two little guys in for a 4 night stay to take place in 2 weeks forward. We just picked them up and we're impressed with how organized the check out process was. The fee was reasonable too. We will definitely use Citrus Pawville again. read more

This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Made an appointment for my new puppy over a month ago only to be told that my appointment needed to be moved forward eight more days due to one of the groomers medical conditions. I agreed to the schedule change and went along with it. Then, two days before my appointment, I was called to confirm. I called back that evening and confirmed with a message. Two hours before my appointment I received another phone call with a message containing no detail. Once I call back, I am told that my dogs appointment slot was filled because I never confirmed! Lady over the phone insisted that I never called back to confirm. She was very rude and I asked to speak with Vicky. I was told that she couldn't come to the phone but would return my call. She didn't return my call. I got another phone call back from the same woman to tell me that I wouldn't receive another call back from Vicky - she was too busy! My only option was to reschedule for April! Two months from now, in addition to the month and a half I already waited! I was basically told, "oh well, your slot was filled!" Beyond rude! Don't waste your time. Mine was certainly wasted. What a run around just to get a grooming! read more

Very disappointed with Pawville. I've been a regular customer of Pawville boarding, grooming and entrusting Pawville with the care for our two fur babies for near 4 years. Initially I found them to be superb. But something changed in the past year. The friendly employees seem to be gone. A few weeks ago, I boarded both our dogs getting each one their own "condo" as we always do. Our Lucy has only stayed with them three times whereas we just adopted her about a year and a half ago. When we went to collect both from our return trip they couldn't join us on my wife requested that she personally go to the condos and bring Lucy out whereas she is still in training. When my wife went back to the condos Lucy was no where to be found. When asking for help she was directed to this cage that you would find in an animal pound. Again, we paid for a condo!!! Same as the two times prior to this boarding. Lucy was "caged" in lying on a concrete floor even though we always bring there beds. When my wife asked were Lucy's bed was they had to get it out of storage!!!! When I brought this to the attention of the manager she told me they determined Lucy was a possible fence jumper so they decided a condo wasn't for her. NO ONE ever told me this or brought this to my attention. I should have been alerted to this decision and allowed to decide if I wanted our Lucy to be penned up on a concrete floor, which I never would have agreed to. Needless to say we were not happy. The following day, this still weighing on our minds I called and spoke with the manager and I asked her why I was charged for a condo if they put Lucy in a cage. The manager got upset I asked this, didn't understand how I even knew this, and couldn't answer why. In fact, she was upset I even asked the question and never even offered to adjust the price whereas this "cage" they had her in was a lot less expensive than a condo. When I asked her why no one told me they were going to change Lucy's accommodations she again snapped at me and told me they have every right to place the pets in any conditions they feel are appropriate without the owners consent!!!!! This is complete BS!!!! I will never return to Pawville again. And I strongly suggest all avoid them if you love your fur babies and do not wish them to be treated poorly. Now we know what goes on behind the curtain at this horrible facility they don't want you to know!!! read more

First, I'd like to start off with that, I am incredibly picky person to who I leave my babies with. In the ten years that my dogs have been with us, We've never spent a night away from them. In addition, if we do go on vacation, we plan our lives around them. Secondly this resort is definitely affordable. While we were staying at a pet friendly hotel, one of my dogs became anxious and whimpered excessively when we left the room. Because we knew we'd be gone the whole day (almost 6 hours), we ourselves became frenetic as we wanted to enjoy kayaking in Crystal River and snorkeling. No need to fear! Sarah and Cathy calmly explained to me that they would be happy to have my babies for the day. Wow! What a relief. The facility is nice and clean, you feel a welcoming vibe as you enter this place. Words don't really do it justice. My husband and I went about our day, and to tell you truth, I know I can be a "Helicopter dog owner". Not once did I feel the need to call the resort to check on my babies. Once we arrived, Sarah explained how well the babies did, and they had so much fun! They were able to meet other dogs, play outside, get bathroom breaks and got plenty of love and affection from the staff. Although we live down in South Florida, I would gladly come back to visit and feel at ease knowing my loves are in the best hands. I guess my only compliant is that I wish they had a location near our house down in South Florida. We wanted to go on a kayak tour and couldn't take the dogs or leave them in the car and ended up calling here. Best decision! One of our dogs is quite traumatized and we were pretty concerned about leaving him for 8 hours. Long story short, they took great care of both of them and provided an environment in which even he was able to feel save. Their fees are incredibly fair. We were just visiting Crystal River for a day and needed to find a place to board our dog since the park we're going to don't allow dogs. This facility had good reviews on Yelp so I decided to call to inquire. Staff was pleasant and reservation process was a breeze. Normally we would check the facility before deciding to make a reservation but we couldnt this time since we are not from the area. We solely relied in customers' reviews and the picture/videos on their website. We were not disappointed when we arrived at the place. It was clean, check-in process was quick and lots of dogs that day! Price is reasonable too. We will definetely leave our dog under their care again next time we're in Crystal River! read more
