Had fraud alert on Saturday and waited on the phone for an hour and a half for a non-US representative who could do nothing but cancel the debit card. No transactions went through. No branches open on Saturday and no US based representatives available till Monday. read more

My first review on yelp! I would give them a 1 star but City Credit Union has been good to me for a lot of years. I used to go to the Colorado location before it closed, but today I had to come to this location since I was down the street. They do have great rates on vehicle loans. But if you have any questions on payments or wanting to talk to a loan processor about a check posting to your vehicle loan don't show up 15 min till closing. The lady at the front obviously don't like working the last 15 minutes. And the loan processors just stare at you from the corner of their eyes acting like they're working. I have been with this bank for 2 years or so.Ashanti the assistant manager was very rude and harassed me following me into a office were I was already talking with another banker saying that she heard me use file languageI was getting my name change and made the statement "that's fu**ing crazy".She waited about 2 minutes then addressed me about saying the f word.She then benson to pick a argument with me about my saying the f word about 3 minutes ago.She folded her arms and then stood over the banker that was helping me. When I asked her for a manager number I was given a number that goes directly to vm.She stood in the office hovering over the lady that was helping me and argued back and forth with me which I felt was very unprofessional.She wanted to get me out of character and loud so she could call the police but I knew what was up her sleeve so she couldn't because I remained professional and told her how I felt about her without cursing.There was nothing she could do about it other then stand there and harass me.I left a vm for the manager to call me back she didn't.I think is important to know who she is leaving over her branch while she's gone. read more

Been going to this credit union for years. I Love the close net family that I have grown to know. I enjoy that they have a coin counter that they do not charge any fees on order to cash out like other facilities. I also enjoy that I can get documents notarized for free for being a member. read more

Man PHUCK this bank....I opened a savings account in order to save for school...school starts and I withdrew from the savings account but left $20-30 in the account-thinking it would stay active- until I had additional funds to put into the account. It's been several months...today I go to deposit $105 and my account only shows $100...I lost my $20-30 and then an additional $5 on top...This bank charges if you don't have a minimal balance of $100 a month...if you don't enroll in paperless statements... They over drafted my savings and were ready to file a -$4.96 charge off on my credit!!!..I didn't receive any empathy nor did they try to keep me as an account holder. BUT the last 5 years I have been doing business with the cu I have been totally bless with a personnel banker Ms. TAMIKA London. THIS LADY IS ON THE BALL. Un-freaking-believable..!!! I feel like no matter how many bad reviews are posted... It doesn't matter! Because the staff at this location has a "that's no my problem" mentality. You can imagine how impressed I was when I asked the receptionist, "Is there someone I can speak with regarding my checking account.."? She asked me to sign-in... only to discuss my account right there at the receptionist desk! Well actually she passed me off to her co-worker,(who just happened to be passing by). And believe me, that "co-workder's" face said it all... Let me just answer the nuisance of a customers question - so we can get him out of here. Bottom line... I was informed that because I began the discussion with the Call Center... I would have to continue with them. And basically said "were unable to help". When I complained about the 30-50 minute wait.... It was explained that, that was the process and there was nothing they could do for me. Awful communication. My new husband tried to add me to his account today, and all we did was waste over an hour of our time. He was on hold for 30 minutes trying to ask what we needed to bring but finally gave up and looked online. It said we both needed ID and that was it. We drove 20 minutes to wait another 30 minutes at the credit union only to eventually be told I needed a SS card, too. When we signed in to wait in line, we were even asked if I had my license for ID, and nothing was said about any other identification. read more

To start, I have been with City CU for 15+ years. The service has SEVERELY declined in the last few years. They've recently built new branches and updated the existing ones with enhanced motor bank (drive-thru) capacity. However, depsite having 4 lines with 2 teller terminals in each line, they nearly ALWAYS have only 1 person working the drive thru, juggling all the cars by his/her self. Trust me, you won't be in line less than 30 minutes. The only times I've EVER seen more than 1 person helping is right at closing time when they are trying to go home. Furthermore, they recently shortened their hours. My local branch (a new stand alone brick & mortar bank) now closes at 4:00pm during the week and is closed altogether on Saturdays! Going inside the lobby for help is no better. No one knows how to do anything without having to go ask someone else. And whatever you do, don't go anytime around lunch time. They will be there eating lunch, but will tell you that you will have to wait to they are finished. This has happened to me twice. I recently opened up a new account at another bank and went into City CU today to close my accounts. They guy didn't know how to do it, and told me I wasn't 'allowed' to close my accounts anyway because I have a Mastercard through the bank, so if I wanted to close my account there, I'd have to pay it off first. I just withdrew all my money and deactivated my debit cards. I can't be through with them fast enough. read more
