I ordered flowers for a friend from CITY FLOWER SHOP Grand Rapids MI last week. I chose and paid for them 3 days in advance to ensure timely arrival and they were never sent. I complained, called and questioned and today received an email saying "they ran out of stock on Saturday because of a high number of orders". Seriously? The will refund me ( they had better!) But my important gift never arrived and the opportunity has passed. Learn from my mistake. read more

I ordered flowers for Mother's Day and was charged on 5/9 for delivery on 5/9. Flowers were not delivered. I have called 3x today and left a message this morning and last week (owner was out of town last week) with no reply. Will never use this company again. Poor customer service. Not answering your client is unacceptable business practice. Wish I could give 0 stars. read more

They knocked Mother's Day out of the park, even though I ordered later than I should have. I used the website to purchase a custom arrangement, specifying that I'd like something colorful and safe for cats. The arrangement my mother received is simply stunning. It's perfect. And everything in it is in the very early stages of blooming, so I know it will last a while! I will definitely use City Flowers again. EDITED: It's now more than a week after Mother's Day. These flowers are still going strong, and the snapdragons keep producing new blooms. Very good COVID precautions. They did a great job on a custom bouquet that I needed that afternoon; also friendly and easy to work with. They've changed their location from on Whitaker in New Buffalo to out on Wilson road so took a little bit to find them. read more

I got my daughters first birthday cake from them after talking to a friend that recommended them to me and after just talking to them they were able to get exactly what we wanted for us and did a grate job on it did not take much time to get done and being I live out of town everything was able to be handled over the phone which made everything even easier for me had it ready for pickup ona weekend as well which most places did not like the idea of doing. We ordered flowers for a funeral from a different florist, 2 days later they call and said that they would not fill the order. City Flowers and Gifts said that they would be more than happy to fill the order even on short notice. We went to visitation and I was very anxious to see the arrangement I ordered. Well.... I was so happy, the arrangement was BEAUTIFUL! I was worth every penny. P.S. the delivery charge was cheeper from City Flowers and Gifts than the original florist.
