I prefer the Country Gate Texaco, but anything is better than the Suburban Gate Citgo. City Gate Shell seriously helps me out a lot when I'm about to jump on the toll road all the way across the Everglades to Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Stopped at a gas station (before checking Yelp). I'm in total agreement with the previous reviews. Big & clean (didn't use restroom) but the service was poor (not helpful at all) and it's just 5:30 in the morning. One size coffee (large, hummm wondering if that's intentional $$$$) and extremely limited choices. No napkins, coffee warm (not hot). Definitely a gas only stop. read more

Don't let the name fool you this is still a BP gas station. yelp map is not accurate for the city gate BP. It really don't care to buy gas here either for the same reason I avoid all BP. 4-20 2010. I do go next door for a coin op wash station for cleaning the boat. read more

Crap customer service. I work for a company that uses this place exclusively to fill the cars and trucks and they don't even give us the time of day. Thousands of dollars spent a week here from gas and other things and they are so rude. Also, their gas is always higher than anyone else's in the area! There is a new racetrac less than a mile away that has cheaper gas and isn't as crappy as this place. read more

Shell stations for what ever reason in this area always have people trying to hustle money for gas or cash or what ever. They will give a sob story about how they need to get to the location, they have a sick kid or whatever just to hustle some money out of you. Today I stopped at City Gate to get fuel, because it was the first time fueling up my new car. Guy was at pumps trying to hustle us on car wax. Did not pump gas, called station and in fact this guy did work for City Gate. Do not want to be solicited while pumping fuel. Girl on phone did not want to help me. She was like "who is this" non-apologetic-so why say "next" I have bought a lot of fuel there in the past as well as carwashes but no more. read more

Wow! These people are price gauging !! People in need of gas cans who run out of gas they sell a 2 gallon plastic gas can for $20 !!! I needed three ! I am so disappointed that you all do this to people . I will never patronage shell again and I have learned my lesson to keep a gas can on me . You should be ashamed of your self !!! read more

One inept clerk. Waited to pay. And waited and waited. Decided to restock my items and walked out. Service Sucks!!!

This gas station was easily accessible from I75. It was very clean and bathrooms were also. It had a subway and a Mexican version of a Subway selling Mexican menu items. Great place for a pitstop! read more

Long drive, stopped for coffee around 3:30 in the afternoon. The coffee was lukewarm, and very stale. Long wait to check out because there was only one person on staff handling Lottery, gas, and Retail. Absolutely terrible and a waste of money. read more

Curtesy not part of sales persons skill set (points to cash register to indicate what was owed) Had to drive to 3 different pumps to find one that actually worked. Had to go into store to get receipt. Told sales person (same one) and he shrugged his shoulders. Definition of "convenience" store apparently not understood.
