The interior was pleasant. The location was great, very close to the Dom. On entering we were greeted pleasantly in German. However once I revealed through my broken German that I'm not a fluent speaker the pleasantries ended, I was told flatly where to sit and not to speak German again when I was ordering. I thought this slightly rude but continued and we ordered two pizzas and some Paulaner beer. We were very disappointed with the food we received , the pizza was burned black and the olives all had stones left in then meaning we had to disassemble each one to eat them with the pizza . We also felt that we were treated differently to the German customers who had waiters frequently checking up on how they were finding everything (I have a good understanding of German, speaking is where I stumble). We were not spoken to from the time we ordered to the time the bill was placed on the table. When we did pay we were met with silence. Overall the only enjoyable component outside of my girlfriends company was the beer! Wouldn't recommend to tourists.

As soft drinks , they served not only the usual Coke stuff, but also home made lemonade (normal and pink) and home made ice tea. You could literally see the pulp! They did not offer Coke Zero (only light) - but I didn't miss it as I drank the home made stuff all the time. It's as if you drink it from one of those little girls in the U.S. movies who sell it at the street. The burger was perfecly medium - the know their work. The gentleman taking my order was very nice and spoke good English. There were lots of burger choices and a couple of good beer choices. The burger and fries were really good. Way better than most fast food burger restaurants in the states. I would recommend this restaurant!
