But one male staff told me that they could change from the one bottle of wine to the paring wine set without extra charge. But it took too long to receive dishes to enjoy with the wine. Only 3 course dinner took about 3 hours. My boyfriend received his beer and I received one glass of sparking wine after 30 minutes. All the beer form was gone and warmer to make a toast together. After soup, we could not receive the main dish over 1 hour. My white wine became warmer and I finished before the main dish came. I complained about the situation to female staffs. Then we received the main dishes. I was served the same sparkling wine again. And I didn't receive a glass of different wine to pair with the dessert. It was tasty but very frustrating dinner. Next morning we found the bill was wrong when we checked out. I asked the front desk male staff to check about it to the restaurant manager. But he told me that he was not able too. My partner got upset and told me to give up. It was not right. So I told about the female staff working next to him. She was not to fix the issue, either. So I asked her to tell about it to the restaurant manager how disappointed we were. It's not reasonable to pay that amount for this guest service. My boyfriend wrote that it's for my birthday. But no one said happy birthday and no special service as my friends received when they celebrated their special days on other Ritz Carlton. Again we had great time but are very unhappy about the way too long dinner and the wrong billing.

I am mainly writing this review to highlight Ramona who worked the front desk. She was AMAZING!!! She was so full of excitement, bubbling with joy to make the stay special. I travel a bit & it is not often you meet someone that takes pride & enjoys what they do. She made sure we were settled in & gave some great recommendations on places to go. Also, I forgot my phone in a taxi & she hunted the driver down & got intouch with him, resulting in me getting my phone back. Ramona went above & beyond what most would do. From here I was able to easily walk to Auto Stadt (the VW exhibits), and the Wolfsburg Castle, as well as the City Hall and the nearby library. Staff were professional, friendly, and top notch. I tend to find German customer service lacking compared to the U.S. but these folks were great. The wait staff were super efficient, the whole breakfast experience well-orchestrated. On my first of two stays I also had a delayed bag, so they provided me with complimentary toiletries I needed for the first night, to get me through until I could go shopping the next day. When the bag did arrive later, and at 1:30 in the morning, the staff kept the bag secured until I was able to come down and retrieve it. The room was well appointed, including a mini-fridge that has some complimentary juices and still and sparkling water. There's enough room to fit another bottle or two of a beverage of your choice, and the hotel's beverages are replenished every day. The bathroom has a large shower with great hot water and good water pressure, rainfall shower head and the handheld options. The bedding and pillows were comfy, although the mattress was a little firm for my taste. The VEN restaurant for breakfast or an afternoon coffee was very good. The morning breakfast spread (after you give your room number) was expansive, with machines for a variety of coffees, several options for juices, and both the more "continental" breakfast of rolls with cold cuts/cheeses, or jams, and the more "American breakfast" with eggs (fried or scrambled), mushrooms, Nürnberger sausages, and bacon. You can grab a fresh plate and keep going. The View rooftop bar is also great with friendly staff. The rooftop itself has very limited seating, but great views of the VW area, and the sunsets. The bar itself, one set of stairs down, has expansive windows, and lots of group seating areas, great music, and a large TV on which soccer matches were usually shown. Cocktails were good, and the beer selection is decent. The food here is also good. I stayed here twice, one week each a month apart this summer for work, and if I'm in Wolfsburg in the future, I plan to stay here.

Rooms have fridges with free water/soda/juice. Breakfast is incredible. A huge spread of breads, cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, and sausage. The rooftop sky view lounge is a great place for team meetings with a beautiful view. Highly recommended hotel!
