Ambience is quite quiet, gentle music and soft lights mean that you don't have the problem of feeling like you're eating in a bar, but not a high-class restaurant either. There is a great desert card too, with a pretty tasty strudel. The offerings behind the bar are good, lots of Dutch and Belgian beers for you to try.

My room was basic but clean and comfortable - decent beds, a good TV with plenty of channels, chair, desk, small table, and a fairly large bathroom. I heard no noise from anyone on my floor all week. Breakfast was quite substantial each day, with plenty of hot and cold choices. WiFi was free and fast in my room. The staff is very friendly and was even willing to print and scan some paperwork for me when necessary. Would certainly stay here again for future trips to Breda!

The bartenders were fun to interact with and tried really hard to offer options for the items we wanted that were not in stock. When in Eindhoven make this your hotel of choice.

It's about a 10 minute walk from the train station to the Holiday Inn. The lobby is very modern looking with a bar and restaurant inside. I got to the hotel Sunday afternoon after a long 15 hour travel time. The staff was very friendly and helpful which was really good after all my traveling. The room was really nice and big. Comfortable king size bed with four pillows and they had soft and firm pillows for their guest. Nice big desk for working and free wifi. Wifi was really good in the morning but got a lot weaker at night. As for the bathroom. It was fairly big but there was a problem with the shower. It was a little sunken so the water could gather and the go down the drain. So you had to be very careful on how much water you use during your shower so the shower wouldn't overflow. Drain was very slow but worked. I think they did this on purpose to help control your water usage. My room overlooked the train station and city central. So the hotel was very close to the mall and city central where all the restaurants were. Very convenient for after work. Only problem is shops close at 5pm so we never got to shop. Just eat. Hahaha We had a free breakfast at the hotel and it was a really good with potatoes, tomatoes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, danish, croissants, breads, fresh fruit and of course juices and coffee. Not a bad spread every morning. It was really nice. Enjoyed my stay. Very convenient but it seemed everyone staying here were business people. One warning. If you want a bike to ride then it's $17 euros a day. You need to order ahead of time cause they have limited supply of bikes. I wouldn't mind staying here again for my business trip. Enjoy.

Room #5 has a balcony with a nice view. There is a limited breakfast, but the hotel is located between the well-loved Banketbakkerij Jan De Groot and the Jumbo market. The staff is young and very responsive to guests. Plusses are (1) restaurants EVERYWHERE, (2) short walk to the city center and (3) even shorter walk to the NS transit system. Drawbacks are (1) no elevators and (2) no room service.

The hotel is sort of a maze especially when connecting between the 2 wings. My room was in the main wing with an in-room Jacuzzi. The gym & spa are located in the other wing and I had to take 2 elevators to get there. The gym is extremely small with 1 treadmill and a few weights. The spa is equipped with a steam, sauna and massage rooms. The bar & restaurant in the lobby is quite good. Tried them for dinner on a couple of days. Service is always great. The rooms are spacious and offers a nice view of the little town of Eindhoven. The hotel is walking distance from the Eindhoven train station. Taxis can be ordered from the hotel reception since Uber was not very reliable. We stated here during Glow 2019 and the reception staff were helpful with maps & umbrellas. Overall a good stay and looking forward to visiting again.

Very nice bed, good work desk with plenty of outlets, mini fridge, Nespresso coffee service and lots of space for putting things away. There's a large screen television that I never used. Wifi worked well. I don't quite understand the shower setup. Why is there glass between the shower and the sleeping area? And why do Europeans love leaving half of the glass off their showers? It is located within a few minutes walk from the central station and just around the corner of the 'Grothe Markt'. The hotel is owned by the guy who owns the Irish pub (O'mearas) across the street. I thought the hotel was great considering it only costs €75 per night. The rooms are modern and everything is clean. Beware that the stairs up to the rooms are rather narrow and steep. Not a problem for me but could be an issue for some people. The rooms had all the standard amenities such as flat screen TV (with a large number of channels), wifi Internet. There was a desk that was big enough to work at and there was also sufficient storage space for clothes. The bathroom also had a bath tub. The beds appeared to be new. Nothing wrong with the beds but perhaps a bit to hard for my liking. The room faced the street so it could at times perhaps by noisy but it was nothing that bothered me. There are however a few simple changes that would improve the stay significantly. The first one thing is that it would be great to have a possibility to plug in the laptop at the desk without moving the wardrobe next to the desk. Just putting a small extension cord there would solve that issue. The other thing that is a little bit disturbing is the fact that it was necessary to inform them the day before at what time I wish to have breakfast. There is no one there for breakfast before the time specified so if one wakes up early the restaurant and reception is closed and there is no chance of getting breakfast. They do make the breakfast for you but for me it would be worth more to be able to just pop down when I feel like it. The same thing goes for the reception which is unmanned at most times. Not really a problem since there is phone number in the room that one can call or it is possible to go down to the pub and ask them. It would however be an improvement if it was at least manned in the morning (say between 06.00-09.00).

Rooms: Now I have to distinguish my room from my colleagues. My rooms tv had a horrible picture quality and only 25 programs, my colleagues perfect DVB-S with crisp HD and several programs. That is no big deal since most people don't use the tv but I think it's worth mentioning. My bathroom was okay, but a totally dirty toilet brush and a stained toilet seat were not exactly what I expected. My colleagues bathroom was all tidy and no unwanted legacy. The water pressure in the shower was a joke, again only in my room. You can imagine the immediate happiness when you want to shower in the morning before having an appointment and realize it will take ages and you will burn yourself every few minutes due to the unforced water temperature changes. Over all, if I had had a room in the quality of the one my colleague had, I would have probably given 4/5 stars but I can only rate my very own experience and since sanitary cleanliness and a minimum of water pressure are scrupulous must-haves for me there is no other possible outcome than 2/5.

The hotel is quite unique and the grounds are near impeccable. Oddly enough, each room is different at this hotel so if you stay multiple times, you'll get multiple room configurations. I think that leads to a pretty cool experience. The hotel is equipped with free wifi, a great bar with an excellent gin selection, decent breakfast and modern amenities. The elevators will confuse you, but you'll get the hang of it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone look to explore a bit. The hotel is located in the city center and walking distance to market, many shops and restaurants. Two minutes walk from the train. Had breakfast in their restaurant and it was above average with freshly squeezed orange juice. For us Americans make sure you try the hard rolls. European breads are so much better.
