They provide goggles and clean beds in between as well (which yes, by law they have to, but they do a good job). Then, because I had recently moved to Fond du Lac, I was looking for someone to do my hair. I'm pretty particular and used to travel 2.5 hours to my stylist I had in high school because I didn't want to try someone new. But, I took a chance and HOLY CRAP I am glad I did! Kayce is absolutely phenomenal! She happened to be the person who set me up with my tanning and I would see her almost every time I tanned. I asked her if she could do a certain color for me, and she took on the challenge right away. I have now gone to her 3 times and I am so thankful I was able to find someone I can trust with my hair, someone that listens to me, and is able to have fun and carry a conversation while doing my hair. So based on former views found here on Yelp, I thought I'd try out MT Nails. I made an appointment, and when I arrived they really weren't busy. I found the salon to be messy, dusty and cluttered, as well as the floor looking quite dirty even behind the work area. This was only my 1st impression after sitting down. I had to ask the nail tech her name, which she provided, but feel she should have introduced herself. She continued to chat with the other tech in Vietnamese--without any interaction with me-- her customer. Which was OK, but rather rude and unfriendly! When she started my gel manicure, she really chopped my cuticles severely, which wasn't necessary. The polish was also a bit thick and there was a bit of fuzz that would stick to the polish on my nails. She would pull it off and continue. During the polish application, she also touched my nails and had polish on her finger as well as a drip falling when she was applying it. My nails ended up looking very unprofessional. As you can see the polish edges are uneven and on my cuticle area. It was a very sloppy job with uneven surfaces which is more difficult to see in the pic. I was hoping to make this salon my go-to in this area but I'll need to look further. I did leave her a tip but not sure why I did--Probably out of habit.

We drive past Klips and Tips often running errands around town and I decided to make an appointment. I luckily got an appointment with the salon owner. When I told her what I initially wanted, lacking any other ideas of my own, Terri suggested something a little different taking my face and body type in mind. She asked me if I trusted her to go ahead and I gave her the thumbs up. It's the best hair cut I have ever gotten! It's so cute and easy to care for. She was right that the cut fit my face and frame so much better. I was there last week for highlights and she did a beautiful job! She is professional, organized and so very friendly. Her salon is lovely and offers a plethora of services. I have observed the other stylist working and can attest they all do an amazing job, as well.
