Robbie and his crew are the best. Going for car repairs can always be nerve racking not knowing what is wrong, how much it will cost and if the garage is being fair and honest with you. Starter motor decided to take a permanent holiday while we vacationed in Powell River. It packed up and left us at the ferry terminal. Got it towed to City Motors who said they could repair it late on a Friday afternoon. Hourly rate is reasonable, repairs done quickly and staff is very friendly and accomodating. I don't think I have had better auto repair service anywhere. Was visiting Powell River when my front left calliper seized the night before I was heading home. First thing next morning called in City Motors looking for an emergency appointment for repair. Took me in right away, took car immediately for test run, gave me quote, ordered parts he went to pick up himself and had car on the hoist within an hour. Julie? Julia? Owner/partner in business was so accommodating driving me back and forth to my bnb, bringing me coffee, friendly conversation. Even introduced me to her Father in law and his dog. Made the 11:50am ferry with plenty time to spare and paid what was quoted. 3 weeks later, no complaints about job done. Impressed! Thanks guys, hope you had fun in Vancouver at trade show. read more
