Asher is a small community located about 49-50 miles south and east of OKC. It is pretty much a rural town. We stopped for a restroom break and a snack. There were lot of run down bldgs and the historic downtown was I need of some repair but the place was busy. We were thru about noon and the restaurants were plenty busy. Asher is known for its HS Baseball program which has garnered many state titles. There were several baseball complex type setups throughout the area. read more
