The woman on the phone was rude and said they cannot send it again. I have all of the paperwork and the smog certificate they gave me, but she still refused send it to the DMV. Update in response to the business owner's reply: The registration was paid. I paid it before getting the smog done and you are already aware as I explained that when I called. Your claim about the 90 days is not accurate. The CA DMV confirmed you could have re-submitted my smog certificate. The cert is still valid. My main complaints are the lack of accountability, rude staff, and the inconvenience this caused. I am a single parent with 2 disabled children which makes an unexpected lengthy trip to the DMV very difficult. I explained this when I called. My child missed a therapy appointment and I had to pay for a caregiver to stay with my kids while I went to the DMV. The woman on the phone said they don't keep records past 90 days. I offered to bring the cert and all of my paperwork to them to send, but they refused.

He has shown intelligence, honesty and skills which are very rare, during these times. I was one of Oscar's first customers and have seen him grow with his business. As for the individuals who made negative and derogatory comments about Oscar. I feel these individuals had bad intentions to cause harm, or made a huge mistake on posting on an incorrect name site. Oscar is a fine business man and a honest smog/repair man who strives for excellence in his work which each time I visit. The reviews speak for themselves. I was the only person there. It looked like they had some other cars they were working on, but that wasn't a problem. I was willing to wait if necessary. I was quoted a fair price for a smog on my 2014 Prius. They had me in and out of the shop in about 10 minutes. Everything was handled for me. Documents were all uploaded to the DMV and they didn't need my registration renewal to complete the job. I will bring my cars back here in the future when the smog tags are necessary. The lobby was clean and smelled fresh. It wasn't like a typical auto shop. I would recommend to anyone.

I ended up going to a fabulous place off of Sunnymead Blvd. that explained in detail that my car was failed unjustly. They asked for me to pay an additional $120 for a diagnostic that was unfounded. Then they wanted over $800 to supposedly fix it. When I took it to the place off of Sunnymead, they said it was just the gas cap which is a $20 item. I called the Alessandro smog shop to explain my concern, and they were rude, insensitive, and unwillingly to listen. They even made a comment saying that I probably went to a place that does ilegal smogging on vehicles. They also did not have masks on or practiced any of the Covid guidelines for businesses.
