They actually scream at you on the phone when you call to order a taxi. I know Czech customer service is generally crap (still a bit better than German customer service, but I digress), but they are usually passive aggressive as opposed to actually screaming at you.
I called to order a taxi, the pre-recorded message says "for English press 1". By the way, no one speaks English. I've been hung up on several times, after they heard I spoke English. First time, I thought it was a mistake and called back; the woman hung up again after hearing my voice; third time, I guess they just ignored my number because I was on hold forever before I finally hung up. Don't they actually interview dispatchers before employing them? If they claim to speak and understand English, get them to take a test to prove that they actually speak and understand English. But I guess this is just too clever for the owners of the company to figure out on their own.
Another time I called and the woman seemed to have understood what I said. She said the taxi would be there in 5 minutes. This was 2:30AM in the morning with my elderly parents just arriving by train from Prague. 2:30 turned into 2:40, which turned into 3:00AM. Called again to ask what was going on, they told me to wait 1 minute. The taxi never arrived.
Another time I called and spoke with someone who claimed they spoke English but didn't understand anything I said and then eventually screamed at me in Czech and hung up. That was the last time I called.
Whoever owns this company must really hate to make money since they keep employing downright rude morons to run their business for them. I am never going to use this company again and I will make sure I inform all my friends and family. read more
