That crazy dessert "drink" topped with Oreos (not GF)

First off, we went here because hubs wanted to try it out because they had breakfast offerings. He didn't do the research for gluten-free stuff, but I knew I could try coffee, so I figured why not? And I wasn't super hungry yet anyway. Unfortunately, they had NO gluten-free options. Their merch that was advertised on their website was rather sparse, and the merchandiser fridge right at the front door seemed to be used only for Door Dash type orders and extra milks... They could do a LOT more with the space to offer snacks, breakfast items, etc. I don't know if it's just an "off season" thing for them or what, but I'm pretty sure nobody takes time off from having coffee. ‍ The only reason I'm giving them an extra star is because the staff tried to be as helpful as possible to me regarding my allergies. And for that I'm grateful! And the breakfast sandwich hubs had (he said) was pretty darn good. The other cool thing is they have free wifi, like most coffee shops, but we ended up striking up a conversation with a fellow RVer who happened to be staying at the same park we were... so that was super fun! She pointed us in the direction of a couple other breakfast places, which led us over to Oola Bowls... which was freaking DELICIOUS. So thanks City Watch, for having a nice space for people to work so we could meet someone we had something in common with. You just never know who you'll run into at a coffee shop!

Came to Lebanon last weekend for a bachelorette and the coffee shop might have been my favorite part of the weekend! They have so many coffee options as well as boba tea which was perfect for our coffee lovers and non-coffee drinkers in the group. The staff was friendly and got our orders out quickly. They had a few games towards the back and everyone in our group loved the one where you could play to win a rubber duck. Even as adults we had a lot of fun playing that game lol! We wish this business much success and thank you for being such a great spot during our trip!

The breakfast sandwiches were served pretty quickly, hot, and at an appropriate price point. The bagel was a little disappointing-- it was on the small side and didn't seem to have a lot of flavor that is expected from an everything bagel. Maybe the seasoning mix didn't have salt in it. City Watch is in a small shopping center. The turn into the parking lot can be easy to miss.

We enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches. The everything bagel it was served on was nice, the other was on Texas toast. Fresh out, the toast was soggy. The service was adequate. The environment was just okay. It seems they are still trying to figure the space out. The retail was not laid out well, and there were games of chance machines in the back. This threw off the vibe. That said, we will come back to try it again.

Love this place. The turkey panini is my go-to and every drink I've had has been delicious - my favorites are the toasted marshmallow iced latte and the orange creamsicle cooler. The staff is always super nice too. Plenty of seating, and parking in the front and back.

City Watch Coffee has amazing coffees, the nicest baristas, and a cute little cafe to hang out with friends, get work done, or just sip on a delicious latte! Highly recommend!

Sandwich was good and so was the Cold Brew, a little more of a darker roast cold brew which I enjoy but might not be everyone's.

We actually ended up grabbing one of the last tables in the place. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a local coffee shop. It's warm, cozy, and full of energy. You can tell it's a community favorite. We ordered two crêpes and a couple of their February specialty coffees, and everything was fantastic. One of the crêpes we got was the Strawberry Lemon Cheesecake, which was sweet, fresh, and perfectly balanced. It wasn't overly sugary but definitely dessert worthy. The other was a savory crêpe with called California dreamin' with provolone cheese, bacon, spring onion, apples, and arugula with a balsamic glaze and garlic aioli, which ended up being such a great combination of sweet and savory flavors. It was delicious!! Our specialty coffees for the month were also excellent. They had a fun Valentine's themed lineup, and both drinks were rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I got the Not Your Sweetheart Latte and Ryan got the Chocolate Heartbreak Cold brew. If you go, one thing you absolutely have to try are their chocolate covered peanut butter balls. They have Rice Krispies in them so they're crunchy inside, and they're ridiculously good. Yes, it's a local coffee shop, so prices are a little higher than a diner, but honestly it's no worse than Starbucks and the quality, atmosphere, and uniqueness are miles better. They also have multiple locations, but the Lebanon shop has a great vibe and is clearly loved by the community.

Fortunately I was in a group and we were able to split a half dozen donuts so that we could try a few different flavors. My favorite was the canoli and the Nutella maple. Donerds Donuts is a locally owned small business that's well worth a stop when you're visiting Jim Thorpe. I learned that the owners met in Chile, where they were inspired to start a donut and coffee food truck. They sold their handcrafted donuts from a vintage VW bus on the streets of Santiago before eventually bringing their passion to Pennsylvania. Today, they have two locations, and I had the pleasure of visiting the Jim Thorpe shop. The storefront is charming, welcoming, and has a few seats where you can relax and enjoy your treats with a fresh cup of coffee. Best of all, everything is made fresh on-site. Their display case is filled with an impressive selection of classic and specialty donuts, along with colorful macarons, French toast cinnamon rolls, flaky croissants, and a full lineup of coffee drinks ranging from lattes to iced coffees. Honestly...wow! Deciding what to order wasn't easy. Since it was already midday, I kept it simple and went with a Boston Cream donut. It was incredibly fresh, light, and filled with rich, creamy custard, then topped with a smooth layer of chocolate. Absolutely delicious! A special shout-out to Sarah, who made the visit even better. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful, taking the time to explain the different donuts and macarons. Everything she described sounded amazing, and she definitely had my mouth watering. I had to show some self-control or I would've walked out with half the display case! She was fantastic. If you're spending the day in Jim Thorpe, do yourself a favor and make a stop at Donerds Donuts. Grab a coffee, treat yourself to one (or a few) fresh donuts, say hello to Sarah, and support a wonderful local business. I know I'll be back the next time I'm in town.

First thing to note: there's currently no indoor seating. There are a few tables outside, but since it was cold, we ended up eating in the car which wasn't ideal. Ordering is done on tablets at the counter, and they have racks showing all the bagel flavors for the day, which I love because you can actually see your options. I got the steak & egg rack on a pretzel bagel with guac, and peppers/onions... really good. Flavorful, filling, and definitely the standout. Ryan got a ham breakfast sandwich on a jalapeño bagel. It was good, but the jalapeño flavor didn't really come through, so it felt a little underwhelming. That bagel would be better on its own or paired with something else. We also grabbed a vanilla iced coffee and a Cinnamon Toast Crunch bagel, and everything came out to a little over $20, which is pretty average for breakfast around here. They're a local spot with limited hours (think breakfast/early lunch only), so timing matters and so does getting there before they run low on certain bagels. Overall: good food, decent pricing, and worth checking out just maybe plan ahead unless you're cool having a breakfast in the car moment.
