I have mixed feelings about this place. It's nice, easy to walk around. There are some nice places to eat. Personally I don't care for the shopping or the parking! The parking lot is a mess to get around and expensive with no validation available.

Spending the afternoon outdoors at the Vegan Foodie Fest was a perfect start to spring. Doral City Place provided a space for foodies, multiple vendors, sponsors, bloggers like SoFloVegans and The Stunt Lifestyle to name a few, including myself Veg Head Vero, along with entertainment from DJ Ephnikodialecto . Entrance to the event was free as it was an open space. Which of course made it a wonderful money, saving value for your wallet. There were samples and delicious food for purchase, of course everything was vegan! Everyone was polite. The atmosphere was very light and the weather was perfect Let's just say is it was a tastFul event.

So much to do here! A visit with the family for a nice lunch and movie at Cine Bistro, followed by dessert at Sloan's Ice Cream or 4D Gelateria. A brunch with the girls at Chico Malo and then some dancing at Copper Blues. A date night with the husband at Suviche or Tap 42, followed by some comedy at the Improv and then drinks Kuba Cabana or Martini Bar. Or perhaps a nice dinner instead at Novecento or Cooper's Hawk. Plenty of options! I love the scenery here too! And I really like when they change the decor and you have nice spots for photos and videos. Parking garage available.

We were in the mood for a drive to some place new and decided to try City Place Doral a few months ago. We had heard from friends that it was a really cool place to go to, so off we went. We drove through it about 3 times because there was no place to street park. We didn't want to park in the garage because I was not able to walk very far. It was nighttime, and some of the stores were closed already. The restaurants were all open and lit up, ready for business. There is quite a good selection of restaurants from different countries. We made note of the ones we planned to come back to. It is a very attractive place with many businesses, restaurants, entertainment, and photo opportunities! We loved it and need to go back to explore it more thoroughly!

CityPlace Doral is a mixed use development that was built in 2017. It has apartments, dining, and shopping. You have to pay for parking in the garage. CityPlace Doral has 17 dining options that range from casual to the fancy. They including Brimstone Woodfire Grill, Burgerfi, Carrot Express, Cooper's Hawk, Copper Blues, Savour Bakes, Sloan's, Suviche, Tap 42, and the Cheese Course. For shopping, there are 12 businesses to choose from. Get your groceries from Fresh Express or try Aviva, D&A, Ella Boutique, Stles Miami Boutique, Mr. Splash, Tarbay, and Win Fitness Wear. You can catch the latest movie at CMX Cinema and bowl at Kings Dining and Entertainment. They are always staging events like the Summer Splash Kick Off Party on July 29th with interactive games, a dance party, a live DJ and more, Kiddos Magazine Annual Back to School on August 5th, and Market on the Plaza. I stopped by CityPlace to check out the Beach Ball art installation hanging over the street. There are over 1,300 rainbow-hued beach balls floating overhead on the boulevard. There is also 14 surfboards and a beach ball tunnel. This installation is so fun and perfect for summer. Come out and see it before it ends on September 30th. I didn't realize they are so many great places to eat. I look forward to coming back and to try some of the restaurants like Brimstone.

I really enjoy CityPlace Doral. They always have a nice exhibit or some seasonal decorations around the center fountain to take pics by and look around. I've already frequented many of the restaurants here and have some favorites. It's nice to sit outside in the courtyard area and face the fountain. Parking can be tricky but they have many garages and some outside street parking. It's a great date spot and there's comedy club, restaurants, icecream, and a martini bar. Good times!

This is a pretty high end outdoor shopping mall with apartments and office buildings. We came because we read there was a cool light show around Christmas. This was a bit of an exaggeration. There's a fountain and a single song plays during the "show". It was underwhelming. There was a market going on when we were there and we got some fresh fruit which we enjoyed. There's free parking for a short period of time in the parking garage.

During covid I have been seeing as much of Miami as possible but staying safe at the same time. This was deemed safe enough for me as I was outside and came to look at the Christmas decorations and peruse all the restaurants and check them out, and save and flag in my mind for later dining once I have the vaccine. Well in short the Xmas decorations did not disappoint - so pretty, so much effort, and so very cheerful and pretty in these sad times. Check out my photos to see. Cityplace is trying to do it it all - offering great living, Restaurants, bowling, cinema bistro, cafes, icecream parlours, shops, nail salons, a fitness place and even a comedy club / nightclub to boot. Need you ever to leave??!! (i guess that is the idea!) Doral has always been to me a blah aka non descript location (this was when I first moved here and lived here in a temporary house paid for by my firm after relocating from Munich, Germany, 9 years ago) a residential place with not much character or reason to go. BUT things are warming up and times are a changing. These NEW places are now not so new and are trying to keep up with the Miami expectations and standards - like this destination for example - come for a look and check out what it has to offer. Here are a list of the restaurants I noticed there - Tap 42, Copper Blues, Brimstone, Burgerfi, Coopers Hawk (a winery / restaurant - where you can sample wines) , jual Valdez cafe, Kuba Cabana (see my other review - they have a car bar!!!) Martini bar, Nove Centro, Sloanes (icecream, see my other review) and the Cheese course. Also being an artist myself - there is a lot of cool art here - check out my photos - on the second floor of the mall, they have art on the walls. Also there is a really cool walk way, aka corridor on the ground floor (near to Sloanes) leading to the parking garage, where you are in a cocoon of art, see my pics and video! I LOVED THAT! and a great spot for the ever fancy, ever note worthy, ever relevant Instagram stories/ pics/ life.

Sooooo I went here for the Corey Holcomb comedy show at the improv which is nice and spacious inside, but you can find everything here. Food &drinks, entertainment, shopping, extra curricular, young adult, middle-age, older, something & someone for everybody. People were extremely friendly and helpful if your looking to find anything. We weren't looking for anything but it was funny to have the offers. Definitely worth checking out at least once. Haaaa!

LOVE cityplace. It has truly become the heart and life of Doral. Shopping, dining, bowling, bar hoping, and partying, there is a little something for everyone here. There is even a cinebistro and improv!! Of all places here, my favorite has to be cooper hawk/ suviche for dining and copper blue/martini bar for partying. I have been to both the improv and cinebistro here and it's phenomenal!! There are events almost on a weekly basis and live music in the round about every weekend. I came for art Basel during Christmas time and there were a couple of tents with outstanding art pieces and a beautifully lit Christmas tree. There is a parking garage and valet (both for a fee) with ample parking at all times. Definitely a great spot for date night, night out with friends, or family gathering. - enough said, must come :)
