CityPlace is a wonderful spot for shopping and family time! The location is perfect -- everything is within walking distance: Starbucks, cute clothing stores (including kids' shops), ice cream shops, and great restaurants for every taste. Our kids especially loved the splash area near the "Wishing Tree." It's the best place to cool off during the hot Florida days -- and in the evening, the tree lights up in beautiful colors. On weekends, there's live music and fun activities -- we were lucky to catch a great band playing while parents relaxed and kids had fun! During our visit, there was also a pumpkin patch -- beautifully decorated, even though we caught a bit of rain, the kids didn't mind at all. Parking is paid (about $11), but the exit is super convenient -- right into the plaza with the Wishing Tree and splash area. There's also a restroom near the parking elevators -- always very clean. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back!

Great night to sit outside for some awesome music and watch the interactive water. It is very pretty to just walk here.

It's hard to rate this place right now. I used to come here years ago and it was really nice. They are sort of under construction. Heck, Cheesecake Factory is even moving down the street. (They should have reopened yesterday actually) There are still some nice restaurants and stores. I love the open and airy environment. It is annoying right now because several large spaces are unoccupied, such as the old Macy's. The good part is the redesign looks very promising. I believe it will be really nice. And now, through the holiday season, Bal Harbour shops has a pop up area. The stores are small but they have one of their mainstay restaurants here as well. (I forgot the name) I would say Cityplace is worth going to, even now. Go check them out. :)

City Place in West Palm Beach is loaded with restaurants, bars, clothing shops and artistic beauty. The BrightLine train from the Fort Lauderdale takes and easy 35 minutes trip to the WPB City Place terminal which then continues to Orlando if needed. Everything in City Place is in walking distance. Mom & Pop eateries and high end foodie joints are plentiful. Some of the facinating businesses are as follows: Starbucks, Lululemon, Planta, El Camino, Tommy Bahama, Assouline, True Food Kitchen, Maman, Golden Goose, Salty Donut and Angie's Epicurean.

11/14/24- 12:30pm Citiplace! We were almost run over by 2 teenagers on bikes doing wheelies and terrorizing me my dog and many others.. some tourists who will not return! They did not feel safe! The kids were yelling and threatening.. this is literally the 3rd time I've been terrorized by bicyclists speeding up and down the sidewalks! Outside the new luxury rental on the corner of Hibiscus and Rosemary! Enough is enough! If you can't protect your local residents and tourists during the day on a weekday how can you attract more tourists to your restaurants and now pickleball players! I'm shocked they were able to stay around riding at high speeds ! I will warn everyone I know. I did report it to the guest information booth by Il Bellagio. They were very kind and appreciative that I reported this. They need to do more to protect us!

Dining and shopping plaza. Unfortunately when we arrived, shops are all closed except for H&M. Decorations are nice and festival for photos.

Excited mall with higher end stores and food options. Nice walking with music on Sunday at fountain. Parking is $10 plus tax in weekends which I feel is excessive. Nice way to spend afternoon.

The Square, formerly known as Rosemary Square and CityPlace, is an upscale lifestyle center in downtown West Palm Beach. It is considered a New Urban mixed use development. The architecture is composed of Mediterranean and Venetian elements. This area of shopping, dining and entertainment offers an upscale lifestyle center with valet and paid garage parking.

The Square, formerly City Place, formerly Rosemary Square, is a bee-hive of dining and recreational, family and singles activity. While I miss the Improve, Cinema and two live music venues, they were razed in the name of progress. Nevertheless, it's still a fun spot with excellent facilities and the debauchery of the Clematis Street portion that are on the wrong side of the tracks--literally. So it's a great place for families and those seeking a partner to start a family, or practice the process of starting a family...

Great outdoor mall with restaurants, bars, shops & a cute water fountain that kids can play in. There is a really neat color changing tree there and they randomly have bubble machines that make "snow". We came for dinner and ice cream. Lots of outdoor seating areas.

5 star ambience and 4 star service. A very well-designed "new downtown" for West Palm, The Square (formerly known as Cityplace, then Rosemary Square and now just The Square) mimics a first floor shopping, second and third floor living above the shop look and feel. In reality it's an open air shopping mall with outposts of most major national chains. The area has filled in over time with a Brightline high speed rail station, condos and office buildings. It now feels more populated and lively than the actual downtown of West Palm on the other side of the railroad tracks. The restaurants are also very convenient for events at the convention center and Kravis Performing Arts Center. They've taken care to include some knock-out public art. My favorite is an actual dead tree trunk that has been been refitted with plastic jade-like artificial leaves that light up at night. In the center, there's also an old church that still holds services and also doubles as a theater. The only real drawback was the nonexistent service for the overpriced parking (why would a shopping mall charge for parking anyway? :), and the poor service when asking for directions or help of any sort from the center staff.

So peaceful! Great place to go on a nice day. Stores to see, food to eat, fountains to read by. This was our last place to wrap up our WPB trip and it was spectacularly peaceful. They have a market on Sunday's but it is very small (lots of free samples through).

Wonderful activities for kids just wish they would ban smoking and vaping since so many children are around. Security staff won't enforce since no sign are posted against smoking / vaping .

This sign is posted in several places.

Doesn't seem like the Square cares that much about safety of their patrons. Lights have been out around parking garages for months.

1-15-24 Worth Avenue…read moreit's been awhile. Last time I was here was probably 30 years ago as I needed to find a Pierre Deux store for a project I was working on. Pierre Deux is long gone but Worth Avenue was as picture perfect as ever. Luckily found parking in a small lot that they valet for you right off the Main Street. It gave us plenty of time to shop not having to worry about time limits for the spaces on the main avenue. All the names you would want are located here Chanel,Ralph Lauren, David Yurman,Lily Pulitzer,Vineyard Vines. I was like a kid in a candy store didn't know which store to go to first. Everything was first class and perfectly presented. Definitely not like the rest of the World. More beautiful to me than the comparative of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Definitely will be back again sooner than later this year. Great shopping experience where you feel safe to shop at as well.

Street parking was a bit tricky and saw the parking patrol officer nailing a bunch of cars with tickets. I was told to wait until after season due to congestion, so we listened and came on a weekend. Most of the stores were empty of customers as we walked by. Worth Ave has every pricey big brand purse store including of course Gucci, Louie Viutton and Chanel. But we came here to visit the beach at the end of Worth Ave and it was "worth" the trip. I recommend the couple streets just off Worth Ave to visit like the Colony Hotel and the Brazilian Court where they offer classy bars with stiff drinks, food and some humans. My opinion is dont bother with the stores unless you like to burn money.

I have definitely stopped to eat at The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, Gelato Grotto, and Five Guys before. And the Nicklaus Children's Urgent Care is awesome. Parking is mostly ok, simply because nothing is ever too crowded. The free parking garage behind the urgent care is easy to use and pretty empty. However, the 3 big box stores I mentioned above are nowhere near each other, so I drive from store to store. The Plaza is unfriendly to foot traffic, has zero common public spaces, and is poorly laid out with terrible signage. The layout is truly beyond frustrating: no clear entrances or exits, strange parking layouts that block access to the few buildings that are connected to the inner strip, several fake exits that dump into rental complexes instead of roads. I attended a holiday event recently at Legacy Place. It sounded fun in theory, but I couldn't fathom where it would take place, given the lack of common public space. The event was one of the worst I have ever attended. My children and I walked into the area, took a look around, and turned right around to leave; it was that bad! They blocked off part of a parking lot next to Pet Smart. A woman in a sparkly leotard was 'performing' in suspended aerial silks, except she fumbled her movements while we watched and then just moved very slowly from pose to pose, very awkwardly. Meanwhile, adults dressed up in Christmas costumes stood in the parking lot and watched. There was no holiday decor, no games or crafts for kids, no food or drink samples, just a lot of empty blacktop and unenthusiastic performers in a depressing setting. It is sad to see all the empty stores here now. I hope they can find a way to rejuvenate this space for the better (ala CityPlace to Rosemary Square!), increase signage to help navigation, dedicate part of the plaza to public space and programming, create appealing walking paths, and bring in non-profits and artists to use empty spaces and bring appeal to these spaces while waiting for long term rentals.
