I really liked the candy here. I have a sweet tooth and I thought it was cool how they would make the candy in front of you. I really like hard candy that is like this so it is preference driven. read more

Cute place to watch candy being made and to pick up a few treats for loved ones. Very easy to find too.

I mean it's ice cream (chocolates, teas, coffees, pralines,…read moredrinking chocolate, tarts, cakes and flans) so what's not to like. Oh, before I go any further it's Dom not Don and Dom is omnipresent. I knew nothing of the Polish way of life and as it includes all of the above it's a way of life I sure do endorse with enthusiasm. So I had a vanilla ice cream with candied walnuts (oh candied walnuts) and my wife had mint & chocolate ice creams. Each was liberally topped with Chantilly cream. Mine also had a boozy advocaat sauce which was delightful while my wife's had chocolate sauce on hers. So as well as high calorie fab ice creams, with all the trimmings, we had a flat white and a cappuccino each. Just like almost every other place the coffees here were superbly made, tasty and almost art works in themselves. The service was courteous, prompt with a smile. What also made it enjoyable was that the very comfy seats overlooked the Main Street outside as well as allowing us to be able to watch fellow shoppers go about life.

I enjoyed my experience and had great servers who recommended the pumpkin quiche of the day which was amazing! A great start to the day and filling with a side salad and tzatziki sauce too. The cappuccino was also delicious with beautiful latte art.

This isn't any hot chocolate, either, like the powdered kind you get in America. No, this was legitimate melted chocolate. If heaven had a taste, I think that's what it would taste like! The service was good, the young man at the register was helpful and very nice when he dropped off our drinks. The cafe itself was nice but needed some care, a little extra cleaning would be nice. The bathrooms, however, were horrendous, and I suggest skipping it and going elsewhere for the toilets. If I could give it 4.5 stars, I would, but the bathrooms were really bad so I took a star off for that. I would 1,000 percent order the hot chocolate again.

When my wife and members of our family came to this beautiful city of Gdańsk there are a couple places that are very appealing to the eye when it comes to ice cream. But my wife was pushing me towards this one because of the ice cream dishes people had who were dinning out front of this location. So she knows how ice cream is my weakness. I can never refuse it. So we decided to stop in and order. The girls who take your order were nice and helpful when it comes to making a choice for based off of you taste. "HINT" This is not America to were taste samples are given upon request. You get what you get. It's pretty much a hit or miss. But from all the times I have visited Poland I have never been disappointed with any choice I have made. The place was clean. And for the person who once reviewed that they are overpriced has obviously not ventured to far for ice cream. Because I found their price to be quite similar to those that I have dipped into before for good ice cream. They also have a menu booklet to help you with your decision. I liked it. But to each its own. Make your decision. I wasn't disappointed.

But overall it was just OK. We showed up on a Saturday morning and it was packed but they seated us quickly, which was welcome as we were starving. After looking at the menu I was slightly disappointed, as it didn't have as many vegan options as I'd hoped. We ordered two breads though. The vegan one with the lentil spread and pickles was good, but nothing spectacular. My husband ordered one of the vegetarian ones but it was out, so he got the egg one instead, which he said was also fine. Additionally, we ordered one of the oatmeals with almond milk, gluten-free oats, peanut butter, banana, nuts, cinnamon, etc. It wasn't particularly flavorful but my son liked it. As for drinks, my husband got the hot chocolate and he enjoyed it; of all the hot chocolates he had in the city, it was his favorite. The price was also pretty good. But I found the service was not particularly friendly (everyone seemed in a rush) and the food just medium.
