Little spot. The kind you want to protect, hold secret, keep all to yourself yet scream at the mountain top how amazing this place is. Patio seating and inside seating. You walk through a room with glass cases of steak, octopus, guy grilling these both. And a door appears, connecting to the main room to dine in. Super small bar. Whimsical art. The food is the main attraction obviously. I started with the Pretty in Pink Sangria: white wine, strawberries, citrus, mint, just yummy! Flatbread and dips. The coal-roasted baba ganoush with citrus syrup, eggplant molasses, out of this world! As the Fried Cauliflower with tahini, pomegranate molasses, dried apricot, sesame, to die for! Octopus and hangar steak, so damn good. Great service in our server. This is a given to return when I am back in Washington, yoy should too:)

My friend wanted us to go here. It's in an artsy industrial area in South Seattle. They don't take reservations so we had to wait 45 minutes for a table but we just went to the coffee house down the road. The place is very industrial and pretty small but comfortable. The drinks were good but weren't very strong. The food was incredible though. All of the dishes were amazing. I highly recommend to anyone in the Seattle area to check this out.

People are gatekeeping this place well! Such a hidden gem! Walked in on Thursday dinner time and was packed. A little disorganized once you walked in with no server to tell you where to go or how to grab a seat but the food made up for that. The flatbread is warm and fresh. Roasted carrots are perfectly cooked and sweet. The octopus was O.M.G so much flavor and cooked to perfection. Steak is juicy and packed with flavors. Pork was amazing too. I think lemon alone was enough and no need for sauces. The meats are all packed with flavor and no sauces needed. 10/10 will be back!

4.4 is a fair rating. The food was very very good and high quality. The lamb riblets were absolutely insane 10/10. We got the skirt steak and the chicken. The chicken was awesome, super juicy and tender. The steak was really good, it needed a little more salt in my opinion. Only reason this is not a 5 is because it takes a long time to get your food but that's because everything is made to order. I also didn't love the sauces but that's just a personal preference. This is a one of one restaurant, you won't find anything else like it in Washington. Would definitely come back.

Really artsy industrial vibe and wow the most tender and seasoned octopus! The patatas bravas was perfectly crispy and the combo with the dipping sauces was excellent. The steak was ok, got cold pretty quick. The hummus and pita bread was yummy. Not a huge seating space so expect a line because they don't take reservations.

What an incredibly nice surprise. I saw the name and expected another Mexican restaurant. I was happily surprised at their menu, even more so when I tasted the food. This CARROTS, though!!! Dang! We tried 3 of the meats, all very good, and the jeweled cauliflower - loved it and could taste the hint of saffron. Very nice. And the service? Excellent!

Walking in, it looks like a mini butcher shop and is a little disorienting. Go through the big metal door to get to the actual restaurant (it is not a sliding door like I thought btw, please pull). The restaurant space itself is quite small, the size of a big living room, but the decor is really cute, especially the mural they got on the wall. Service was nice. For food, we ordered the coal roasted baba ganoush with flatbread, fried halloumi, and 1/2 pound of chicken thigh and 1/2 pound of hanger steak. You could really taste the roasted flavor in the baba ganoush and the flatbread was delicious, very soft and well seasoned. I wish the flatbread was bigger! Fried halloumi was my fav dish. The salad it came with was incredibly flavorful. I could not get enough The chicken thigh and hanger steak I was less enthused about. The chicken thigh was good but the hanger steak was way more raw than we would've liked. It was mostly still red. They were good, don't get me wrong, but I was lots more into the small plates. This is a pricy place but the flavors I think justified it.

Neither my friend nor I have been here before or knew what to expect, but we came out pretty full though! This was on a Saturday evening around 5:35pm, and we were a little confused when we got inside; there was a kitchen with a bunch of the meats that they offer on their menu. You have to go in one more door deeper to see the fully packed dine-in area and bar with bright lighting and a design that looks like the inside of an auto repair shop. My friend and I waited about 10 or so minutes to finally get seated, and even then we weren't immediately sure on what to get. Stuff here is on the much pricier end but it definitely doesn't stack as much compared to an AYCE meat buffet when split in half. We decided on the following: - Flatbread and dip: our dip was the hummus with zaatar, chili pepper and olive oil. The flatbread was big enough for us to split it, and this dip was very creamy with some hits of lemon and spice. - Lamb ribs: probably the biggest winner of our meal here. Richly flavored with barbecue sauce and sitting on top of a big bed of labneh (a creamy kind of cheese) that complemented the taste, and could have also been used as dip for our flatbread. - Hanger steak: rich, juicy, medium-rare and smoky. It was so tender to chew and held in so much flavor. - Pork collar: earthy, a little spicy and pretty salty yet nicely and evenly flavored. Also tender in the right way. Server was very accommodating with us since it both our first times here, and answered our questions about some of the meats and flatbread dip choices. This is a place I literally keep passing by whenever I hit up anywhere in Georgetown but have always seen a good bunch of people come here. Now I can see why, and I loved the bold flavors this place offered us!

Good food with a nice ambient. Most of the food is great pairing with beer. We had almost their entire menu. I do recommend to order everything at once or ahead because there is quite a wait for any grill dishes, especially when there's a full house. The food doesn't come all at once so there is a break in between. Great place to chill with a few friends with some sipping and munching. Wouldn't be ideal for big group of 5-6+. Though, I always come back.

The server and host were very welcoming and helped me figure out what to get as I'm vegetarian, and there were not too many vegetarian options. I got the flatbread and three dips combo. The flatbread was incredible, for the dips I got the hummus mushroom and labneh. It's a well lit and open area a bit cold on chilly days.

We came here for dinner before a show and had a wonderful experience overall. The restaurant has a super cool industrial vibe with colorful wall art and a semi-open dining space that feels both casual and trendy. Every dish we tried was full of flavor -- the grilled octopus and hanger steak were perfectly cooked, and the fried sweet corn was crispy and addictive! The heirloom tomato salad was bright and refreshing, and the cocktails were well-balanced and beautifully presented. Service was friendly and efficient, even though the place was busy. The only downside is parking -- it can be pretty inconvenient around this area, so plan a little extra time to find a spot or consider rideshare. Overall, Ciudad is definitely worth a visit if you love bold flavors, creative small plates, and a fun atmosphere!

Almost tempted to gatekeep - w o w new favorite restaurant in Seattle. Everything is grilled to perfection, even the chicken thighs were melt in your mouth flavorful and soft. The sauces are delicious, the harissa is nicely smoky and lightly spicy. The coal-roasted baba ghanoush has insane depth of flavor. Even the salad dressing was delicious. Great cocktails, friendly service, and great vibe - can't wait to go back many times!!

I like Ciudad, really I do. There were just a few things that put me off. I liked it enough that I'll try it again and see how it fares. The entry is underwhelming, it is hard to tell that the steel plate with the name on the door really is the door to the restaurant and the host is inside that door. The staff at the outside grill told us, so now we know. The decor is nothing fancy, but that does not speak to the flavors of the food, wow! We were feeling adventurous and decided to take some home, so we ordered 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and a dessert. We ordered the Strawberry Shrub and the other non-alcoholic drink. They were both very good. We got the Flatbread And Dip with the extra 2 sauces and an extra flatbread. We had a hard time deciding which of the three sauces is our favorite, the hummus was good hummus, the labneh was very good, but for me the baba ghanoush flavor was excellent on that warm flatbread. We foolishly also got the Saffron Cauliflower, while delicately seasoned and cooked to perfection, we were starting to get full already and did not finish it either! From the grill we got the the Chicken and the Hanger Steak. The flavors and textures, especially with the addition of some chimichurri, of the chicken was heavenly. The hanger steak was rare which is too red for me, the waiter graciously took it back to get it a little closer to medium rare. (It would be nice if they asked how we would like it cooked.) The problem is that the expeditor took it back to the wrong table so they wound up having to make our meal over. Great chicken the second time around again, but still rare steak. We decided to not try again. I'll grill it at home, it won't be the same, but it'll be good! For dessert we got the Olive Oil Cake which comes with a spoonful of the same yogurt the labneh is made with, but spiced differently. I thought the combination was delicious, my wife was not overly impressed. We didn't go home hungry, just a little disappointed. But again, the good parts were good enough that I want to try them again.

We came to Snoqualmie to see the falls, and then decided to check out the local flavor. We visited the brewery next door and happened to see this spot on our way out. We have a tequila and mezcal lover in our group and it happened to be close to her birthday, so we had to check it out. There is a hall connecting the brewery to the bar where they have a shared bathroom, but they are two separate businesses. The place was empty in the early afternoon we came, but more people came in eventually. We happened to have the owner Marta take care of us and she was such a great host. She and some locals were super friendly and gave us great suggestions and chatted with us and told us about the area. It always makes me all warm and fuzzy inside when we can just sit with the locals and have good conversations. Though I am not a tequila drinker, I was impressed by what this small town bar had stocked. A couple of friends went the tequila route and got some cool creations. My friend still talks about the tequila old fashioned he had in Snoqualmie. Since I just had beer, I stuck with it and got a local cider called Two Towns Marionberry Cider. I found it to delicious and refreshing. We didn't eat, they do have a pretty good menu of small bites. Overall, my friends and I really enjoyed this place and glad we took a chance on it. Coming from New York City, when I hear family style I'm picturing big shareable plates for the table to be going back for seconds (maybe even THIRDS). The dishes here were quite small and very pricey, which made it hard for them to function as true family-style portions. That said, the food itself was excellent, very unique and the service was genuinely wonderful. The staff were attentive, warm, and made the whole evening feel really welcoming. I can't say enough about the staff, just SO lovely. So if you go in expecting beautifully prepared small plates rather than true family-style dining, you'll probably have a great time.
