Horrible! I've given this location two chances to change my mind and they always fail. My pedicure was horrible and so was my shellac manicure. I had to to tell the nail technician various times to fix my polish but they still messed up both. I also got my eyebrows waxed and they completely did not provide any shape what so ever even though I have great eyebrows. During my service a lady used a stick she had grabbed from the trash to puncture the bottom of the bag to let the water drain while my feet were still submerged. Pretty discussing. I made a comment to management and they just disregarded it like it was natural. The prices are not reasonable they are compatible to other places so I would rather go to a different place and get better service. read more

Always a beautiful job. I didn't catch his name, but the young man who does my nails, nails it (forgive the pun) every time. My nails always last up to a month without breakage or the need for a refill. The lady who does my pedicure is equally as good. They have a variety of options and packages. I will NOT be going here again and I will post pictures from my phone shortly after I finish this post. Im new to this area and this is the first nail salon I've tried. I am so disappointed. Google had it rated at 4.5 stars, so I decided to try it. It's in a small strip, maybe 4 or 5 shops, and looks decent enough from the outside. The inside seemed clean and cozy at first glance. As soon as I walked in, I was swarmed by three women, looking at my hands and offering me services that I did not ask for. Once I found the chair I should be sitting in, I was given the a color wheel to select from. I was asked if I just wanted a polish change or a full manicure. Since I had not been there before, I decided to just do a polish change to see if I liked the work they do. The lady soaked my nails to soften up the polish. Once they soaked for about 10 min, she SCRAPED THE POLISH OF WITH HER FINGER NAILS. She used a removal tool one time on a stubborn part of my thumb. I was so shocked by this, I didn't even say anything until the end of the service. I think i was in such denial that it was actually happening. She told me that she usually charged extra to file nails when it was just a polish change, but she wouldn't since it was my first time. She told me to wash my nails after she buffed and scraped them, and when I got back to my seat, there was dried up polish remover (I am guessing and a nail on the towel), I didn't get my nails clipped, only filed, so i KNOW that wasn't my nail. When I she started painting my nails, she said , "Oh, this is a sheer color, do you still want it?". I have never gone to a nail salon when they don't let you know before your service that a color is sheer or meant to be a top coat. At that point, I was just ready to be finished and told her it was fine. I am just very disappointed with my visit and won't be returning or recommending this shop to anyone. read more

I recently moved to this side of town, the nail shop I usually go to is in the Galleria area and I was looking for something quick as a 2nd just in case I couldn't get to mine. A lot of positive reviews to I took a chance. It was just okay. I would think for the amount of money you pay for the services, the place would look a little nicer. I can never understand the one service at a time. Who has all day to spend in the nails shop. I'm used to being able to get both my feet and hands done at the same time and be done in a hour and fifteen. I had somewhere to be at 230 and at 145 she was about to start my shilac and no one had even come over to start my manicure. I did ask for it to get started but was told that they don't usually do both services at once. So, if you are in a rush, needing both done, make them aware or, pass on this place. I do not recommend this place at all. My pedicure was awful, lady who did it, did not clean my feet or cut cuticles , lousy job! When I pay money, I want at least to feel good about it, I want my feet too look taken care of etc. Do not expect to get this from this place!!!!!! Went here with my girlfriend when they were about to close and they still helped us out on a Saturday evening. Very nice and considerate staff. I seem to be the person who always gets decent service wherever I go but I was very pleased with my experiemce. Very personable. I called at 7 pm and the salon had 4 ladies still getting their manis and pedis so I was told to come on over. I got the #5 super deluxe pedicure with Lisa. Wow! Great shoulder, neck, and foot massage, paraffin, and hot rocks. Linda did my refill. My nails were pretty thick so she thinned them down, cut them down, and convinced me to do shellac. Love them! Lisa did my eyebrow wax as well and created a natural looking arch. The ladies were very gentle with the tools (sterile bagged in individual sets) and both were perfectionists. I will definitely be back! Also, their massage chairs really do give you a massage that you can feel. They serve water and wine. It's like a happy hour just for the ladies. Prices are reasonable. I've been here a few times my first experience was better than the few experiences I had but the older lady did gel on my nails it was so thick and uneven it peeled off in a few days and she cut me with the cuticle cutter on my toes and when I said ouch she laughed as if I was joking or being dramatic. I work near the area so I came by one Wednesday afternoon to check out the place. Surprised that the place was not so crowded ( I often go to the one near my house and that place is often so packed :(). Came in and ask for a deluxe pedicure and loved my technician and her work. The technician who worked on me, a young short-hair girl, also informed me that the store will email out some store promotions if you signed on the VIP list. Yep, love to be a VIP lol. I asked for a butterfly design from Youtube and she painted it perfecly. The orignial design was white on a pinkish base color but she spiced it up by painting with a shiny glittering white on a blue base. I usually like this place, I started coming here when i moved to this area and usually like them but they're under new management now... my apartment is 5-7 minutes away so I call and ask about the wait and am advised 10 minutes (cool by the time I get there I can get in there chair). So I show up and am advised 30 minutes, I mean I guess... the time passes and am advised another 30... now I'm thinking it's getting late and it's Christmas Eve just wait it out. I'm advised to sit in the chair where I end up waiting another 45 minutes. Now I'm the kind of person who is VERY particular about their nails, I knew exactly what I wanted... the lady who is gonna do my nails kept trying to talk me into getting gel nails or dip because it's "faster" (believe me home girl I wanna go home too but no I want my acrylic nails) I already waited this long and I altered what i was getting already. My experience at CK was fantastic! I am not sure where the rudeness from the other comments came from. Everyone there spoke English very well and we had some great laughs! As far as quality and cost? It is comparable if not better than most other places I have been too. My toes and nails look great and they were both properly done with great massaging! Shellac was $25 which is standard everywhere I have been and their basic pedi is $18 so I upgraded to the $25 since I am used to spending $50 for those 2 services. I also threw in a neck and shoulder massage for an extra $5 and it was worth every penny. Grant it my $50 place had a neck shoulder massage while you were still seated in the spa chair but for this one they sit you down in a seat and it is done properly. Oh and they even have a stamp card..I am not sure what you get when you fill it up but I really didn't care because I will definitely be going back! read more

This salon is close to my apt. I've come here a few times as a matter of convenience. The last couple of visits have been rather nightmarish. A few weeks ago I came in for a refill and all of the technicians were busy with customers (it's only 3 people that work there) so the owner, a guy, did my nails and when he started I noticed that his hands were grubby and his nails were dir-ty. He then proceeds to tell me he'd been changing oil. Ew. I was all set to not return until yesterday. I stopped in to get a new full-set. Sidenote: they have an entirely new staff now but still all relatives of the owner. Anyhow, I sit down and an older woman is doing my nails. She begins to lackadaisically remove my original over lay. VERY LITTLE care was taken. She seemed to be in a rush. She did not bother to soak my nails off (the proper removal method) instead she used tools to attempt to lift the acrylic. I was bracing myself the entire time. When she got to my right thumb, she ripped the acrylic away so carelessly that it punctured my real nail and bled. Now, I've been getting my nails done for yearsssss and I've never bled from the process:( I was hell-a upset. I demanded the service be free but they then pretended like they couldn't speak english. I actually had an epiphany in that shop yesterday. I thought to myself "Why am I paying for services and THEY do not care for the customer". This place is DIRTY, has only a few nail techs, no variety in regular varnish color, shellac, powder, or designs. They are slightly rude to boot. So needless to say, this place is rubbish.
