Really impressed with this place. Great food. Fantastic craft and import beer selection. I don't love Irish Pubs. I'm not a fan the big 5 Irish Beers and the food tends to be fried stuff, not-quite-Indian curry and dry or over-veggied shepherd's pie. This place was not my first choice when we rolled in on a Saturday evening. But, I am so happy to be wrong about this place! Clancy's has a fantastic tap and bottle selection. It's a great mix of local craft beer and European imports. They had an extensive cocktail menu, as well. Everything on the menu looked fantastic. It was really difficult making a decision on what to eat. The hangar steak was great. The horseradish mashed potatoes were delicious. And, the brussels with onions and bacon were al dente. Great meal. And, I really enjoyed my Ska Modus Hopperandi with it. The Shepherd's Pie looked divine as well. And, the cheesecake was fab! We will definitely be back! read more

I love the atmosphere, the owner, and the menu always looks good but sometimes the cook seems afraid of using salt or herbs and spices. The coleslaw was bland- like there was no sauce at all. The fish and chips were perfectly cooked with excellent crunch- but also had no flavor. I noticed that about the previous trip where we had appetizers. I like pubs that have old wood bars and floors and a lot of beers on tap from a wide range of locations. If I find a place with one or two of these, I'm pretty happy. Clancy's has all 3 plus their staff are always fast & nice! I drive across town to have a beer or two here, so I definitely recommend Clancy's to anyone who truly appreciates the art of beer! There are multiple "rooms" and bars within Clancy's. I've never been to Ireland but I'm guessing that's a thing over there because I've been to other Irish bars that are setup this way. Walk around and see which one feels right for you! They have live music on weekends I believe. Check their website for those details. This visit I had Warsteiner Pilsner. Excellent fall brew, caramelly flavor, like an Oktoberfest but a little lighter. Not hoppy, I'm guessing around 20 IBU's. I didn't look it up. Color is like a gold Pilsner. This place! I LOVE this place! The parking lot is a huge plus, the service is prompt and attentive... you don't know they're watching until your water glass is less than half full and boom, they're there filling it and gone just as fast. The food... not for those watching their calories but incredibly good! My guy got the fish and chips... giant, tender fish fillets with waffle cut fries (uh... chips in this case) and malt vinegar on every table. I got the Reuben, which was the best one I've had since a couple years ago in Vegas at a chef Ramsay place. Thick, juicy, tender slices of pastrami, the much needed kraut & swiss, all on a lovely marble rye toast. And the potato salad! So great! Incredibly tender potato chunks and a creamy, just-enough-dill sauce. I can't wait to return so I can try some other menu items! read more

Went there for the first time today and don't think I'll be going back. It's a Thursday afternoon and it was not busy at all. We waited 45 mins for our food, by the time it came out we were annoyed and ready to leave. The food itself was nothing special. Clancy's Irish Pub actually makes you feel that you're in, well, Ireland. Very warm and friendly patrons, I also felt that I traveled back in time during the medieval times because of how gothic and rustic it looked. My professor had an official book launching party here and the staff totally catered us with friendly finger foods. I'm also finding out that Clancy's is actually one of the oldest pubs there is in the area. (1973) About 50 years old!! They have a downstairs area and also allowed my professor to speak through a microphone and have our event catered downstairs of the pub. Super accommodating and the food was delicious. read more

We decided to give this place a try so we went there and ate outside in the front on a Sunday evening. In this review I now feel it rates 5 stars. Not much has changed from my last review except I now feel when compared to others this should be rated higher. The place remains unique and eclectic. Pricing is reasonable. The food is high quality. I had the tilapia fish fry and chips. It also had a slaw which was okay. The chips or fries were plentiful and decent enough. The fish was good even if a slightly greasy. It definitely was tasty. Another in the group had the club and this looked awesome. It came with fries. Plenty of food. Still another had a burger dish and all I can say is the plate was licked clean! Another had a wrapped item and it also looked quite good. The service was timely and friendly. Overall this was a quality meal. It certainly merits more frequent visits on our part. This place is not fancy it's casual. It attracts people of all types from seniors to the young and to me seems to give off an offbeat vibe. Perfecto! read more

I travel a lot and always try to visit Irish pubs every place I go and Clancy's is, in my opinion, the Best in the Country! The food is outstanding. The service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is classic, old school Irish pub. The prices are perfect. You get more bang for the buck here. It's a pub where you can walk in alone and leave with 3 new friends, 7 friends is you are an outgoing jovial guy like me. Decided to try a new place for lunch and we chose Clancy's and we are glad we did. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions about the menu. We ordered our meal and about 10 minutes later our food came out nice and hot. Yes hot! Not luke warm like most places. The food was delicious. Great place to bring the family or just to go watch a game and have a drink. We will be coming back in the near future. read more
