For couples, he starts with an individual 1:1 session with each person. In mine, he covered and uncovered more than I had in many sessions with other therapists, and when I shared with my wife what we'd worked through, she agreed we'd covered a lot in one session and was impressed. Every session, he sets a clear agenda up front, what we want to cover and what he wants to cover. He's calm, targeted, direct, and easy to talk to. He remembers what we've discussed, listens without judgment, and offers precise thought, behavior, and communication suggestions at just the right moments, when we've reached a point of realization and they have the most impact. He also always asks how our son is doing, and you can tell he genuinely wants to know. The office is calm and private, booking has been easy, and sessions always start on time. We feel like we accomplish something in every session, and we've been able to build better habits because he helps us understand ourselves. We're so glad we found him and highly recommend him.
