The rooms are well-equipped with technology (screens, laptops, projectors) and support services. Their fees to use their rooms are much lower than other facilities, especially because they have non-profit rates available. They also have a variety of rooms available, including an auditorium for 300+ people, two computer labs for up to 28 people, assembly hall for 200+ people, and meeting rooms for 30-50 people. To reserve a room, you have to first register their online reservation program. Once the registration is approved, you can then login to submit your request online. They also have a community calendar available on their website.

The staff and students all make you feel welcome, appreciated and at home. I haven't' started classes yet but the registration process was a snap, all thanks the the personal attention I received. I know I'm not just a number at TU but an individual. All of the staff I have had to deal with know who I am, my situation and are eager to help with whatever questions I have. If you're thinking of becoming a student here, just stop by for a visit. It really is an amazing campus and it's filled with some of the friendliest people I have ever met. I will update my review after I have finished my first Semester at TU with impressions and experience.

I have been looking forward to the official opening ever since I heard about the concept of Casa de…read morela Cultura (House of Culture). In Mexico, most cities have a place that's considered a cultural hub and a place where everybody can access different art forms. In my hometown, I attended dance, painting, literature and music workshops free of charge and open to the public. The idea is to promote the arts and make it accessible to everyone. They have their own physical space now, right next to Morelos, who donated it. As soon as you walk in, there's a beautiful mural painted by Vinny Avendaño, who intentionally portrayed various generations and the joy of our culture. There are various rooms used for classes and workshops and they are still building out one room with wooden floors for dancing. It is a treasure to now have this concept in Tulsa, where younger generations can be exposed to our culture. They have various initiatives, including a Mariachi program in various schools, Ballet Folklórico Dance classes, Danzón classes, Piñata making classes, and Cine de Oro Night. They also offer guitar and painting classes and have a specific initiative focused on older adults (Casa de los Abuelos/Grandparents' House). Their next event is a Mexican folkloric dance show in Muskogee.
