Everything was fine until Dr. Pollack BROKE my surrounding molar while extracting my wisdom teeth. He told me about while I was coming off of sedation so of course I had no recollection of it until I regained feeling in my mouth and felt the sharp edge of my tooth. Luckily, my sister got a video of him telling me and his first response was "I didn't even pull that hard, it must've already been broken." Mind you I have TWO very recent sets of X-rays which say otherwise. I already have pretty bad dental anxiety but I have tried to be proactive to try to avoid more costly and extensive repairs in the future... I called the office the Monday after my wisdom teeth extraction (which was the Friday before) to try and get some more information about what happened (and to see how they plan to repair or at least pay for the repair of my tooth) and this dude (Dr. Pollack) is on vacation. The lady on the phone just tells me to call back next week when he's back because there's nothing she can do. I call the next Monday and he is STILL on vacation!! The lady on the phone told me that he'd be back Wednesday. Today is Wednesday. I called again this morning, and STILL.NO. RESPONSE. To have caused me even more dental trauma by breaking my tooth (which will definitely need to be repaired), not check up after doing so (or have anyone from his office check in about the tooth) and have me jump through all of these hoops just to speak with him... is unbelievable. I am not sure of the type of business these people are running. The reviews SEEMED great which is why, even though I have so much anxiety, I decided to trust Dr. Pollack with my care. Looks like I was wrong to do so. This office will not stop hearing from me, and I will not stop sharing this unbecoming experience, until this situation is rectified to my liking.

Been dealing with this Denistry for over 6 years. it abruptly came to an end bc of a text message…read more This Denistry recently implemented a text messaging system 2025 that requires a patient to confirm their appointment. if you don't confirm there is no courtesy call no home feeling nothing they will just cancel the appointment even if you been waiting half a year on it. This Denistry didn't warn patients or anything of this change. The first time I knew about it was when I came in for an appointment and i was told it had been canceled even though I was on time 5mins early . This is inconsiderate and selfish to the patient. It shows non appreciation for the patient. Also a big inconvenience to the patient. It literally threw my dental cleanings off. I think this Denistry has lost some elements that originally attracted ppl. COMMON COURTESY & RESPECT. However the Most High is good I managed to find another Denistry that considered the patients more. I get calls reminders and all from them. Nice Denistry just like Hometown use to be . i have to say When Dr Kit Kat left things haven't been the same. This would've never happened on his watch . Well it was a good run while the race was on. i made it over the finish line and the race is done. This was my first time here since moving to Jefferson. They explained some paper work I needed to fill out and got me in first in line. I got X-rays done and then a quick consultation. After we agreed on how we were going to fix my tooth the procedure started immediately. Dr. Amy was very vocal on what was happening and told me she really thought I did well for my first filling. I had chipped my tooth while eating and I thought it was huge and she reassured me it was small. The procedure took all of 10 minutes and I was out! I will be back for my cleaning and checkups.

1. My appointment was at 7:30am. I arrived at 7:25am. I wasn't seen by a provider until 8:10am. The dentist, first, poked around and said that my teeth looked great, to start flossing and get more regular cleanings (fair), but that overall I looked good. 3. The hygienist came in second (by this time it was 8:15am, 45 minutes after my appointment) and poked around for about 3 minutes before telling me I had severe issues. Conveniently these severe issues (that the actual dentist didn't see after poking around) would cost me $2000. 4. They don't do a cleaning on the first visit. This is not made clear whatsoever. I would not have booked if I knew they did an "initial consultation" like a med spa. Also--if you offer an initial consultation, it should be free. It's a consultation for potential services rendered. When I asked about the cleaning, the lady at the desk said that whoever called me to confirm the appointment should've told me they don't do a cleaning on the first visit. Nobody ever called to confirm my appointment. So, I arrived at 7:25am for my 7:30am appointment, waited for the hygienist to arrive, was told one thing by the dentist and something completely different by the hygienist, and walked out at 8:30am after sitting in two separate waiting rooms for the majority of an hour and wasting my biyearly free checkup.
