I live in San Jose, I was wrongfully accused of a felony crime I didn't commit. I have never committed a crime and presumed it was just a mistake. I obtained a criminal lawyer in San Jose, who manipulated me, neglected to show up to my court dates and worked with the DA behind my back to offer a plea without my consent for a different crime I also didn't commit. I was being forced into admitting fault for a crime I didn't commit. A serious crime that came with mandatory jail time. All while dealing with a newly diagnose family member with terminal cancer, my career and my livelihood was in jeopardy. She had not been drinking and passed the polices sobriety test 3 times, but they took her license and impounded her car. She had barely enough money to live on a could not afford a lawyer. He overheard me telling my hairdresser about it and took her case for free. DMV gave my daughter back her License back as she proved no alcohol was in her, but the DA still took her to court. He was able to get her off with a wet and reckless charge, even though she was innocent. But it was all wr could do, we could not afford to take Tehama County on. We were very grateful to Mr. Miller. It still cost my daughter about $1,000 for Court costs and impoundment fees. The officer who arrested her at the time of her arrest that Tehama County had their own laws. I believe it now.
