Throw in some Ray Bans, bean bag chairs, leather satchels, and graphic t-shirts and flak jackets (oh, and a few retro metal lunch boxes for good measure), and you have the gist of this eclectic, wonderful store on St. Denis. There's two levels, and the main street level has the lion's share of clothing and shoes. Vans, Converse, DM's, trendy flip-flops... My kid is a sneaker fanatic and we couldn't tear her away from this store. We loved how all the differently designed sneaks were suspended from the ceiling. Like, hundreds! Yes, shoes and sneakers are a definite draw here, but there seems to be so much more hidden around every corner. And the store is deep, and there's a downstairs which has a gazillion different backpacks here. I'm not exaggerating. A gazillion. What a fun store! Very unique and funky. And the staff here were super friendly, too. Bonus! This was my kid's favorite store in all of Montreal and, if truth be known, we loved it too.

I was so excited to finally find both of the items I was looking for, especially when I found out the reasonably priced accessories were also on promo. I started wearing the hat every day in the coldest month of winter. So, when I dropped it in the metro station and couldn't find it again, I was really upset, especially because I knew I'd bought the last one in the store. But Cuir Mont Royal saved the day! I messaged them on Instagram, and, within an hour, they'd responded that they would do everything they could to get me the same hat. Just two days later, they reached out to tell me they'd found it for me, and that they were reserving it for whenever I could come into the store. They were so kind, helpful, and attentive! Truly the kind of customer service you only find in a local business like this one. On top of it all, their selection is unmatched. They have a vast but curated selection of high-quality, stylish products for all budgets. They even have a selection of unique gifts that celebrate the culture of Montréal. We saw several overpriced hats at other stores and then ventured into Uniqlo. We don't have one near but but the feel of it was right for what I wanted. We found a reasonably priced hat with their supposed HeatTech technology, and it was very reasonably priced. It served me fine the rest of our time in Canada. I was surprised it's actually a Japanese brand.

It's always been a go-to store for her and my dad, as it always has had the BEST basic wardrobe staples - and then some! - in sizing that FITS, and of excellent quality. It was just such a big bummer that my folks had to travel far and wide to get to any of their stores. And they had nightmare experiences, trying to order stuff from their website. It was important for them to actually try on the clothing. So it was great anticipation that we all waited for this store to open up in Montreal! I sent my mom status updates, on the store opening, for months before it opened, and she is just in heaven now that the store is in her city! I visited the store yesterday and even though I had read about it being the flagship Canadian store and all its features, I was still blown away by it. It is gorgeous! Huge, well laid-out, excellent signage, clean, open, spanning two levels. With all the excellent clothing for men, women and kids that they are known for. They have always had excellent sales, and right now, they are selling their winter jackets for a steal (and they are known for their winter jackets, along with base layers/thermal "Heat" layers). In fact, a lot of their winter gear is on sale right now, and they have an enormous selection of everything. So if you're in the market for cold weather clothing, you need to get there ASAP. All Uniqlo offer free hemming of their pants if they are too long on you (I've used this free feature a few times in their Seattle store. It was great!). I've gotten lots of clothes here and they've all withstood years of hard wear, so I'm a big fan. And now with this new, jazzy store, Montreal, you got it made!

So first I was very excited that the dress I was interested in was available in plus sizes - i used the sizing chart and because I was inbetween I sized up deciding if I needed to I would get it altered. if I didn't like it I could send it back because they have a solid return policy. I ordered the dress on a Thursday morning, paid for standard shipping and assumed it would arrive sometime next week since I live in Alberta. Imagine my shock when it arrived the NEXT DAY. Opened it up and everything was beautifully wrapped in ribbon with a beautiful note to boot. The dress is gorgeous - it will definitely need some hemming but I could not be more thrilled. I 100% will be buying from here again.

I was ready to drop over 1000.00$ for my wedding dress & 5 brides maid dresses and they didn't seem to care. waiting almost 25 minutes to check out, and the cashier wanted to give me the sample dress without a garnet bag... the dress was worn multiple times and not so white anymore. I asked if I could get a new one as she rolled her eyes and walked away to get a brand new one. again the prices are good, just don't have high expectation for customer service.
