Pavers Outlet is rather extraordinary - I got some desiner trainers for £14, but casual slingbacks cost me £34. Mind you most of the footwear is Italian, even in the Outlet. In the other half of the store, are brands which are far more expensive. My friend and I examined an exquiste stiletto in a neutal colour with embroiderie, around £120. 'Great for a wedding!' I decided. 'Or just round the house' said my friend. 'Yes, with nothing else on' I concurred. Really besides real elagance like that, you get The Really Useful Shoe, The Flatty, Trouser Shoes, and all points in between those. Some of their mules are great, flattering and summery. There is every type of shoe Under The Sun. Oh, but the boots! Now, I do have a boot fetish and I get most of my boots here. Usually I wait for the sale and get two pairs maybe. The staff are good fun, enjoy my visits with a certain friend, and are helpful to boot!!! Oh, the good ones are the best!

The quality is not particularly good, although I think that's more luck, as there are some good ones. Everything is laid out in sizes, rather than style so it takes a lot of looking to find what you're after. If you have a lot of time to search, then this may well turn up a bargain for you.

The store is airy and well laid out, in size order so you can easily check what they have available in your size, the trick is to not look at any other sizes otherwise you can get tempted with other styles and then be disappointed when they don't have them. It worth looking out for offers here as they do good deals for example a discount when you bring in an old pair of shoes.

The man in here means well but he dies rub people the wrong way, and embarrasses my daughter. I know Mums who won't come here anymore, but considering the next nearest stockist, I'm not that daft. The lady, however, is very friendly and seems to have a love hate relationship with her boss.

Terrible service. We…read morebought a pair of school shoes for our daughter, who at the time was very upset about being dragged around shops to try on shoes (she was even in tears in the shop). Eventually, we settled on a pair from Shoe Tree having bought many pairs of shoes from them over the years. After getting the shoes home and trying them again after our daughter had calmed down, she decided they were not all that comfortable and she did not particularly like the style. We decided to return the shoes and look elsewhere, but we were told that she could not get a refund and all the shop would offer was a credit not0. I realise this is well within our consumer rights, but at no point was it made clear at the point of sale that a refund would be given, nor was it detailed on the purchase receipt. The shop assistant could see my daughter was upset and I was stressed, yet didn't think to point out the fact that no refund would be given if we change our mind. If we'd known that at the time, we wouldn't have bought them in the first place. We've contacted the shop and spoken to the assistant requesting that the shop owner contact us back, it's been over a week now and despite numerous calls, the owner has made no effort to contact us to discuss our complaint. I've never been refused refund on shoes before and it's no surprise that small businesses like this struggle when they do not make their policies clear or are flexible towards their customers needs. AVOID THIS SHOP.
