Shoppers only want what their looking for and whats in their heads is to stay there, it would be physically impossible to satisy every single person who walked into a Kurt Geiger store. But this store also the largest of the brand does have a few selective brands such as Caravella, KG, Solea, Marc Jacobs, Uggs to name a few. A shoe lover I walk into the store once a month to see whats new and interesting. I personally hate the idea of retail, but good shoes are always an expression. Too many girls trying to look very gorgeous, but I only want good sales service. Standing long hours can be tight, and I feel the girls should not be overburdened. But the staff are nevertheless well trained to get you what you want. And some off season shoes are also put up on the discount goodie shelf. Overall good shoes, good store ambience, could be better the service.

Very glamorous, very push and party wear, for parties I haven't been invited. Well it is not completely tasteless, some of the designs are actually quite cool. On the store shelf's I mean. Aldo is one of the shops I go to when I want to know what the fashion industry would like me to wear. It normally has a massive amount of heels, which are all fairly similar to each other. At the moment they have studs ... on everything. So I assume that studs is the new fashion. As I do not have shoes with studs I assume I will never catch up with fashion and resign to an unfashionable lifestyle. This shop in particular is rather big and has a wide range of accessory as well. It only gets three stars at the staff always seems very put out (or stressed) and the music is always too loud. On the rare occasion when I try on things I can barely ear them calling out my shoe size. Ohh, yes another thing: the staff forgets your face when they go and collect your desired shoes. I think its a reaction to dealing with huge amounts of people every day. Sometimes they walk straight past you and offer the shoes to some other perplexed customer. Highly amusing, but not the reason for my visit: I want my shoes!

I had always wanted a pair of Espadrilles (the ones with an upper cotton or canvas fabric and a sole made of rubber molded into rope) I found them here and only for a tenner. I had a look around and found a pair shoes that I had bought in another shop about a year ago for almost half the price. Their other styles didn't really do much for me, except for their good selection of Birkenstocks. I thought the mens side was better, but unfortunately I was shopping for myself that day.

Ah! love the window display - lots of eye candy there. His pieces are more "art" and less "shoe". They're structured, exciting, innovative, combining a variety of influences, textures, materials. I wanted to try a whole lot of shoes on but the very first pair were made for me. I LOVE THEM!! The young Irish saleslady was sweet, cool and helpful but enthusiastic in the right dose. Jas, the manager, made me feel like I was the only customer in the store despite the fact that he conservative had at least a dozen wandering around. They are exceptionally well made and comfortable enough to be functional. I live in these beautiful boots. Unfortunately, due to an altercation with a drain pipe, the heel of my boot came off. I went back to the store and the staff sent my boot back for repair. Two weeks later, I received a phone call and picked up my boots. Good as new. YEARS on, my heel came off again. There's no denying it, I am definitely the culprit - not the boot. I went to multiple cobblers to get my boot fixed and they all turned me down because apparently the lack of a zip was too complicated for them. So, with very little faith, I returned to Mascaro. As a jaded Londoner, I honestly expected them to laugh at me. But these boots were very dear to me. Despite the fact that years had passed, and I clearly have the tread of an elephant - they agreed to take my boot back and send it to bloody Italy where they have repaired it for me once again. The other reviewer claims that this place isn't a designer boutique. This store is PURE LUXURY - which other shoe brand offers free repairs, years after purchase. If only Mascaro would branch out, I'd buy everything I own from their wonderful, wonderful store. THANK YOU FOR MY BOOTS.

Designer Jaime Mascaro started by designing ballet shoes in 1918 and the label today is well known at least by its high profiled fans. I am not sure what exactly did I expect from the shop but most certainly did not look like a designer boutique, just the opposite to be honest. Hand written price tags with price cuts and the bit messy out look aside, the shoes looked well made and most certainly feminine with still some decent ballerinas on the selection. Maybe not the style I would go for but beats many of its rivals down in the Oxford Street.

They are expensive if you buy their branded shoes but they also sell a great selection of Clarkes and Startrite. In fact they had a better choice that Clarkes and John Lewis and the shoes were the same price. I found the service better in here that the two previously mentioned shops. They were really lovely to my shy 22 month old and overall it was a very pleasant shopping experienced. This will definately be my first stop when shopping for my childrens shoes in the future.
