I've ordered Classic Burger for years. I ordered a burger meal & grilled cheese recently (last Sunday), the burger was super dry, overcooked, burnt, and had no dressing (thousand island) as stated on menu. I called & let them know, they mentioned next time they would compensate me on my next order. Today, I ordered a breakfast burrito with my store "credit" originally promised & they gave me tons of push back on how I originally ordered my burger dry. I told them that is not even an option on DoorDash and I have photo proof. Long story short, they messed up the burger, by far, the worst I've had in a while. Then provided false promised customer service. Then argued about a mistake they made on order even though they promised store credit for the burger meal (& burrito would've been of lesser value.) After all the back and forth with them, I said forget it. All and all. They just lost a customer who has been ordering there for years. Good thing there is a better quality burger place opening up in town, go to Fantastics instead or Steve's Burger. read more

Decent burger joint I ended up getting a hotdog with fires and drink, there burgers looked good. The only thing I could suggest is make sure to ask people if they want everything on the hotdog. I was ok with it but I can see other people not being ok with it. Until next time! read more

Customer service is lacking. I came in with my kids and the man taking my order did not say a single word to me. He was able to speak because he was talking to the regulars. He did not even ask what I wanted, or if I needed any help. I placed my order and waited. At some point, I walked back in and he gestured to me that my order was ready. I don't mind too much not speaking, but his customer service came across as unfriendly and I would not come back because the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. The food was fine. I ordered chili cheese fries and a burger. The chili on the fries was good, but the cheese was a little sparse and the size was not very big. I felt like for the amount I paid, I should get some more. Burger was fine. Parking in the lot was fine, but there is a lot of businesses for the small shopping plaza parking. There is outdoor seating. The adjacent street is quite busy and loud so if you sit outdoor, then it might be a little loud and windy. read more

I saw the sign outside offering a Surprise Special for $9.99 so went in and ordered the Teriyaki Chicken plate. Salad is nice crispy and a flavorful teriyaki chicken over rice. Service was nice and I ate in and it didn't take long for the food. Place is clean and has a good amount of tables to dine in with outside seating on warmer days. I keep trying these mom-n-pop burger joints in the hope that one or more of them will be superior to the (mostly-wretched) big chains (McDingleberries, Booger King, Windy's, etc.,), because -- like that ancient Avis commercial -- they have to try harder. Well, I'm sad to report that the (mostly-wretched) big chains have won another round. This burger is greasy and does not taste very good. The good news? The french fries were terrific. read more

You just now departed the beach, traveled a couple of blocks, hunger has kicked in - sun, water and sand has a tendency to do that - and there you go, a nice friendly small strip mall burger joint to address your immediate needs. I came here for lunch and toward the end of my meal a homeless man came in. He was clean and polite, nothing off putting or unsafe about him. I offered to buy him lunch and he was very polite and appreciative. I paid for his lunch and continued eating while they prepared his food. The staff served everyone else before him, including people who came in and ordered after him. After I noticed that I realized they weren't going to serve him if I left. When I realized there was no one else waiting on an order I asked where his food was and they said "they're making it now" but I looked at the griddle and there was no food being prepared. The cook even took a break and walked away for several minutes before having another cook come out and make the food. It took 25 minutes for them to make his two eggs and sausage. I waited the whole time to make sure he got his food, when I was ready to leave 5 minutes after I ordered it. Utterly lacking in empathy and completely disrespectful of the fact that I was a paying customer. Wasted my time and treated this poor man like he was subhuman. Will not be returning. read more

BUT, the image on the site is of a burger--it's a double, on what appears to be a brioche bun, with slices of red tomato, leaf lettuce, and cheese melted perfectly to ooze off the sides of the meat. I got the double cheeseburger. tomato was white, lettuce was white, and the bun was just a regular old one. the website's burger looks like it would be tough to wrap your mouth around; my version was squat, like someone smashed the entire burger. it tasted like any other. onion rings were good. the guy threw me some fries because I had to wait for an online order when no one was there. there is NO burger here that I can't make at home. I like to give local places shot after shot, but, as of this writing, it's going to be a while before I go back to classic burger. too many other options. read more

The Service here is so friendly! The dining room is clean and they offer plenty of seating. I was astonished by how many menu items they offer. There is truly something for everyone here. My bacon burger was juicy and seasoned perfectly. The fries are delicious and the ranch is excellent ! It's honestly everything I hoped it would be! The carne asada quesadilla was good but VERY heavy on the (super finely diced) white onion. It's frankly too much to pick out if you don't like onion. The red salsa they offer is Heavenly. read more

The burgers would've been pretty good aside from a hair being INSIDE the burger patty. I also tipped 20% as I usually do to ensure my food is done well & also because I've worked as a cook so I tend to always try to add extra for small businesses. We were offered a remake or a different item but unfortunately I had pulled the hair from in my mouth and the rest of it from the remainder of the meat patty. It put me off so I requested and received a refund for my item. Hopefully in the future health & safety protocols are followed more strictly. The rest of the meal (fries) were good. read more

Every time I go to Redondo Beach, I always would drive past this place and always wondered how their food was. Today was the day that I finally had a chance to try them out! Outside, the parking can be a toss up of availability since this strip mall is consistently packed/active due to the other cool businesses around; which is totally normal. Classic has great indoor and outdoor seating with free water for the guests. What caught my eye was the fact that they were showcasing some spicy/non-spicy Korean style chicken...so I gave it a try. Korean style food with Mexican food!? Hell yeah!!! Keep in mind that this place is more known for their burgers and breakfast burritos. The big picture of how they had the Korean style chicken looked amazing, but when I received it, it was OK. I kind of expected more from the look and taste, but it wasn't bad....just wish it really looked more like the big picture advertised. What I also ordered was 1 Carne Asada taco and a bottle of Jarritos. The taco was pricy compared to other places, but it was a pretty big street taco! LOVED the portion size, but I expected more flavor. Customer service was top notch! The workers are very funny and entertaining if they're comfortable with you (which they was with me). Their restrooms were cleaned well along with their tables inside and out, despite some customers too lazy to clean up after themselves. JUST ANOTHER GREASE PIT, Came in here because we were around locally with my son. And I ordered a Bacon avacado burger combo with a diet coke. And I ordered my son a kids meal with a corn dog. The food was taking a while to come out, probably like 15 minutes and then the guy who took my order tells me that they don't have corn dogs, what would you like for your son. I told him a cheeseburger is fine ketchup only. Picked up my food at the counter and I noticed my son doesn't have his fries or drink. When I asked he tells me I never ordered a kids meal and he didn't charge me. I told him I did but he didn't care he was taking another person's order instead. I got pissed and sat down with ordered my burger so we could get out of there sooner. The patty was super thin and the bacon was small. They gave me about 1/4 of a avacado. It wasn't that bad it was a pretty good burger and the fries were good my son enjoyed the burger too. The only thing I didn't like how he fucked up on the order three times. Once initially when he took the order I did ask for a kids meal he didn't get that right. Two he didn't stop to check that he had corn dogs and three if you fucked up twice on order already you should make me whole and just give my kid the fries and drink because you already fucked up you need make customers happy. The menu has a variety of items to choose from, so it took me a minute to decide. I finally developed on the chicken fried steak and eggs. Served with your choice of potatoes and toast. Better be good! Last night I was told that I absolutely had to try this place and to order the burger that was crafted by the owner. So that's what I did! Except one problem, the staff wasn't sure what burger I was talking about. So instead, we ordered one of their burgers and made it a combo with onion rings and the Korean style spicy pork. After seating myself, my meal came fairly quickly. When they called my number, I turned my head, and they brought it right to my table.
