My long-time other half holds the Master Gardener designation and is a judge at the world famous, Philadelphia Flow Show! When she talks about Caladiums, folks pay attention and she says order here! Location- Their Home Office/Operations Center/Wearhouse/Gardens is here in my teeny tiny town. If you are not a wholesaler, it's really not a place to visit. Customer Service- You order online and I usually do the ordering, and their site is organized, informative and quick. I've never had an order screwed up or damaged, so customer service is spot on. A few things to note, these folks are Proven Winners Heart to Heart Caladiums, they are the breeders. Excellent breeding, no other privately held company in America is performing any caladium breeding. They are the best, because they breed for color, vigor, and disease resistance. They produce caladiums for sun and shade. These are not your grandmothers' caladiums! One thing to remember this is farming. So, whatever is happening under the soil, no one know until harvest. There could be crop failure, lower yields based on weather or bumper crops. They never know until they dig. I say all that to say this, if you've had issues in the past, call them up, ask questions and they'll work through any issues. I am a happy customer!! read more

Do not order from this company. I've been ordering for years and this year they clearly have company issues. I pre-ordered over $100 worth of bulbs in November 2023 to ensure I got what I wanted for spring 2024. In May 2024, they told me there was a computer glitch in their system and they lost many of their pre-orders. They then sent me whatever they had "left over". It was nothing what I ordered. Infuriating. I was told I would get a complete refund. Two refund checks been "lost in the mail". It's now mid-July (almost a year later) and I still have not received my refund. SAD! This is the worst Caladium Company experience among the three companies I have dealt with, yet maybe my expectations were too high. CEO, Dr. Robert Hartman talks a good game, but They NEVER reply to emails ( sent to emails to everyone in their contact page and not 1 person replied) and only replied after I placed an order, but otherwise they will just ignore any questions or issues you have I assume. What a shame, as I order thousands of bulbs each year. Their website is also never properly updated and contains so many errors. Some of the bulbs that just came had soft yellow rotten spots, otherwise they just looked desiccated with few eyes. The sizes were not labeled, and one bag didn't even have a label to it at all? They sent planting info for the wrong Zone. The box only weighed 10 pounds, whereas another companies two boxes weighed 70 pounds for half the price! Terrible rip-off business. read more

2019 April - I have NO complaints about this company. The caladiums I received were quite large and fresh, not old and dried out like some others I received this year. I placed my order in October 2018, knowing it would not ship until after the frost free date in my area. Some of the elephant ears I also ordered were shipped separately as "live plants." Let me tell you, WOW! I ordered (3) for $25.00. It had to have cost them $30 to ship. the shipping carton was 28" tall and 20" wide. Each 2 quart pot was sitting in side its own box within the shipping carton and each pot was wired through the pot, through its inner box and then wired through the shipping carton. Quite a chore to get them out of the boxes but an appreciated chore. I also found their customer service very responsive and patient to my phone call AND to emails. They had to explain to me that the "live plants" do ship separately AND that the greenhouse wasn't quite ready to ship at the time the bulbs shipped.
