The kids and I had a long morning of traveling back to Cali from Denver. After finally getting our rental car from LAX, we were STARVING. We wanted something yummy and local. So we gave this place a try. They were super friendly and made our order fresh. Their food was delicious. They had on an afternoon show on TV, but not too loud. The kiddos and I were able to comfortably have a conversation without raising our voices. They had a clean bathroom for customers to use. read more

This is one of my favorite places in LA. I've probably been 50 times in the last couple years. It's delicious, convenient, affordable, and everyone who works there is awesome. Their zucchini fries, chili, and homemade hot sauce are my favorite things on the menu. Pro tip, get a breakfast burrito and add chili in it!!! Seriously to die for. I'm drooling now writing this and think I may have to wander over for dinner. The taco salad with carne asada is also a banger, and my husband loves the taco plate and the wraps. You ever come across a burger joint and end up loving everything about the place? The staff is friendly from the time you order your food to when you sit and they bring out your food. They ask if there's anything else they can get you? I mean, I'm so use to staff calling out our number and we pick up the food at the front. So the couple of times I've been here I really am impressed by these simple interactions. As for the pricing. Come on now, they have a whole double cheeseburger combo with hot piping fries and a drink for under $15. You can't even get that at most fast food places that serve cardboard like meat patties. The double cheeseburger I got was so juicy, half my plate was filled with that amazing drippings from the burger and veggies. I powered through to finish it since it was a hefty size burger. The fries was top notch too, it was crunchy, hot and fresh from the fryer and perfectly seasoned with their season salt that isn't salty at all. Last time I had a combination burrito and I added some jalapeno inside and that was . I know why you would wonder if others gave a 3 star rating, why I would give Classic Grill a 5 star? It's simple, price is affordable, food made to order, and taste is delicious along with the clean dining. That's a 5 in my books. read more

Stopped by for breakfast the other morning. It was actually really good. We had three eggs, four pieces of bacon, hashbrowns, and two slices of toast for $13. Well worth the price. The place is not fancy, but there's plenty of parking and the staff was very friendly. Order at the counter, and then they bring the food to your table when it's ready. My cheeseburger combo is really good. I ordered to eat in and my food was brought to me in a plate which is nice. Usually in a burger place you get a tray with your food. I have had breakfast here before and now lunch. I am enjoying my dining experience. The place is clean and well kept; I get to watch tv with my meal. read more

Just average.....nothing to rave about but it's decent. When we decided to try it I was actually craving a BLT and while looking through Yelp, I found this place, prices seemed good and it was near enough, so why not try it. I ordered my BLT, and my friend ordered hot pastrami, then we also got their zucchini sticks and coleslaw. Their BLT was not what I was craving - too much lettuce, bacon was a bit soggy. The pastrami was ok, I've had better. Their zucchini was a huge portion and a bit too greasy for me, the coleslaw was nice. I would give them another shot, maybe. But I'm not in a hurry to do so. read more

If you want them cooked light make sure you ask for less batter or else they will give them to you undercooked vs light brown lol. - Corned beef hash is the old skool canned kind which I prefer. - they know how to cook eggs to temperature but scrambled with cheese and onions is not their thing - carve asada tacos are like a taco truck good - tuna melt is heavy and yummy but a bit greasy so ask for light or no butter on the bread when they grill it and light cheese Parking can be tough as it's in a small plaza. Their food is decent but their customer service is horrible. I'm not sure whether to recommend them anymore or not. I ordered a side of fries. I pull up to the window and paid them, the cashier puts fries in the deep fryer and scraps the fries out the bag with her hands (Hands that she hadn't wash) then comes back to the register. I politely informed her of what I noticed (she was rude). In return she asked one of the men in the back to put more fries, said something in Spanish and had another staff member replace her. I was craving some chilly cheese fries today, and Classic Grill met my high expectations! I am super picky when it comes to ordering chilly cheese fries, but I can confidently say this place has one of the best chilly cheese fries ever. They're not too greasy, super cheesy, and they give a really big portion! Best of all they use steak fries- which in my opinion is better than any other type of French fry you could use. The staff was ok, nothing special about this place. They dont allow substitutions on their plates , they instead want you to pay like $3 additional to get a 2 strips of bacon, or etc... Classy, Generous and not too pricey. I would definitely return to this location. The cooks did a fantastic job on my dinners. The cashier was polite and performed her duties in a very safe manner. Hand sanitizer is provided. I can only imagine how awesome the atmosphere was before the pandemic. Plenty of parking along with a drive thru. Did I mention that the food was awesome? The turkey burger was juicy and fulfilling and what i appreciate to is that they use wheat bread for the meal. French fries was hot and crispy. Their fountain drinks taste like a fresh cold can of soda. Their meals are about ten dollars a plate and they are worth it. My hubby's meal was not only good but the presentation could pull in customers. My mom's Patty melt on the other hand was good but not completely to her satisfaction. She said they use cheddar cheese instead of swiss, which is unusual. Patty melts consist of onions as well but this one didn't have any. Not sure what type of Patty melt the cook had in mind but although it was good, it didn't fully meet my mother's expectations. I've passed this location for years but never paid it any mind. Yelp is causing me to take in my surroundings a little bit more and try new locations. I'll definitely be back to try the nachos. I could only imagine how they would taste.
