I visited this store earlier today with the intention of purchasing a Honda CBF125 at the price…read morelisted, assuming it was as described on the eBay sales listing and that it had no obvious mechanical issues. I called this morning and was provided some useful information by a lady over the phone and advised I'd be looking to test ride the bike. I also requested I left my number so they could contact me should anyone else purchase the bike in the meantime, as I'd be travelling for an hour to get there. Upon arriving, a garage with a number of bikes were on display, they had kept this one within easy reach where they powered the bike up, showed us the books they had and allowed us some time to check it over. This was to be my first bike as I've only recently passed my CBT, but I brought my dad along who is a long time rider to assist with my purchase. So far so good, the bike was sold in my mind, it looked in good condition and there was nothing obviously wrong with it. We asked if we could take it for a test ride and this was where the problems began. An older gentleman stepped up and joined the conversation with an instant agressive attitude. In 'polite' terms, he would have been advising that due to the weather being bad (it was raining), he did not recommend we took the bike out for a test ride because the chances were high that we could come off and his insurance would not cover it. He didn't say it like this though. Using a barrage of profanity he approached us immedietly on the defensive "No, you can't." "Buy the bike, then take it for a ride" "It's fine, otherwise I wouldn't have passed it's MOT this morning" with a mixture of various swear words I won't use here. He only appeared interested in getting his point across with as much foul language as he possibly can fit inbetween the real words. We advised that our intention was to place a deposit on the bike and collect it at the weekend, but only if the bike was suitable. We would even have been happy paying a deposit and test riding it on the weekend we came to pick it up, but by this stage, I'd heard enough for me to never want any dealings with this garage. They lost out on a guaranteed sale today, and any future ones. Unless you're happy purcahsing your bikes/parts/safety items from someone who can't string a sentance together without using profanity, and a clear disregard to professionalism, this place is not worth considering. I could only imagine what their aftercare service is like in the even of an issue with the purchae. Absolutely disgraceful customer service and disgusting manners. I'd strongly advise against visting this business.

I stopped off in Sunderland (I have a friend that lives there) and spent Saturday morning calling several motorcycle repair places. They all said "sorry, don't work today" or "sorry, fully booked" or "sorry, don't have the parts". DiT called me back about 20 seconds after I left a message and said to come in and take a look. Sorry, I didn't catch the owners name! Anyway, I went to the shop where he looked at the bike and diagnosed that it was (as suspected) the relay. Unsurprisingly, he didn't have a replacement relay for my bike lying around, but he made one up for me from other components. AWESOME. I was (and am) very grateful to him. Top bloke. Great mechanic.

The guys came out to where I staying and took my wheel away advising me that it would take a day due to the nature of the cracks-came back next day with the wheel looking like brand new. Also made the suggestion to go to a lower profile wheel which I am now looking into as it makes more sense. Excellent service and a fab job, thank you so much Karen- Crosby, Liverpool

I explained that my son had kerbed his wheel and also had a spare alloy to put on whilst the repairs were being done. David suggested that we repair the spare as the kerbed one on the car wasn't that bad. The spare alloy was, in my opinion, totally beyond repair. I wish I had taken a photo of it before I left! Wheelright have repaired this alloy, and it looks brand new. The transformation is absolutely amazing. Me being a car enthusiast, I am always wary of anyone working on my cars. All I can say is give these guys a call and you wont be dissapointed. The quality of the workmanship and finished product is first class, but also the quality of customer service is second to none and alot of people like myself find this appealing. My initial meeting with David and the guys was great. He explained in detail what he would do to repair the alloy. David came to my house when the wheel was ready and took the kerbed alloy away so he could swap the tyres over for me. Then he brought the repaired alloy back with the original tyre and fit it to my sons car. Then he explained in detail the after care process for the alloy wheel. Genuine nice guy who clearly cares about his customers. I would have no hesitation to recommend Wheelright to anyone who wants a top quality job, at a great price, and first class customer service. Thanks David
