I had a shoot with Steve today, and it went excellently. He helped me out with a few poses esp. positioning of the arms and turning the body, and we were able to have a good laugh and chat in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere whilst still maintaining a professional setting. We shot in his home studio, I provided two different types of dress and also a shirt for a more casual look. I was able to really practice my posing, and crack out many different poses, which I'm grateful to Steve for, as it was a great opportunity for me.
I can't wait to see what the pictures look like, but I'm sure they'll be amazing. He offered to help suggest some poses to me as well, however I took it as an opportunity to practice what I know (with some guidance if my poses looked dodgy, of course). He even gave some more technical information to me on clam shell lighting, how it bounces off of walls, how the way the figure is angled can make all the difference, and much more. Overall I had a great time, thank you very much, Steve. :)
