Like any seasoned bargain hunter I was drawn inexorably into this shop on my way through Double Bay by the big 50% off signs plastered all over it. It was big enough not to feel to closeted by enthusiastic shop assistants, though I needn't have worried, the shop assistant wasn't in any mood to be enthusiastic!

But that's just what it seemed to be, there was no cohesion of styles by brand or occasion, more just shelves of mismatched shoes. This may be a slightly unfair observation as it was a sale, but even the pieces that were new in had an all too obvious predilection for diamante and patent leather. A trend which is matched in the handbags and shoes also for sale, never a good plan.
There is the odd nice pair of shoes among this horde but you'll have to work hard to find it and I'm not even sure if the shop assistant would be happy you taking them from her if you do! read more
