Great place to grab a quick bite. The quinoa salad was great. The potato soup was very good. Coffee was not so great.

True authentic Italian food…read more The pizza is some of the best I have ever had. Consistent quality. Traditional Italian pizza with not many options for toppings - which is a good thing. Their pasta is well prepared and very tasty. I have been told that their fish is also very good. I HIGHLY recommend picking from their daily specials, instead of their menu card. But you can get a nice steak or pasta dish from their menu card. It is a local favorite so it is always full at lunch. One disappointment is they aren't open Saturday evening/night and Sunday.

One MASSIVE section that's about the same size as an entire isle at a typical US grocery store. Then there are two large bins with more gourmet selections. Oh yeah, the day I visited they were also giving away half liter bottles of beer to all customers over 18. FREE BEER!.

This is one of my favourite vegan restaurants ever!…read more It's not fancy, but the food is delicious! Every time I visit my parents in south-Germany we go and eat at Sehnsuchtsküche. This is often the highlight of the whole visit. They have a buffet with variating food. It is mainly traditional german food - made vegan. My favourites are the spätzle, saitan-schnitzel and seitan-sauerbraten. On the salad buffet I always go for the delicious potato-salad and the cellery-salad. It seems to be a family-restaurant and the people, that work there are very friendly and professional. This restaurant is an absolutely must if you are nearby. Even though it is on the very country side it is definitely worth a visit!

Luckily some people cancelled their orders and we were able to get some baked goods and we bought them all. We got some pretzels, baked croissants, round breads and bread with pumpkin seeds.
