They do not accept Amex, but that is pretty common in Germany, they do accept Visa but cash is probably the best way to pay here. The bartender, Andy, is very friendly and speaks pretty good English. This is one of my favourite vegan restaurants ever!…read more It's not fancy, but the food is delicious! Every time I visit my parents in south-Germany we go and eat at Sehnsuchtsküche. This is often the highlight of the whole visit. They have a buffet with variating food. It is mainly traditional german food - made vegan. My favourites are the spätzle, saitan-schnitzel and seitan-sauerbraten. On the salad buffet I always go for the delicious potato-salad and the cellery-salad. It seems to be a family-restaurant and the people, that work there are very friendly and professional. This restaurant is an absolutely must if you are nearby. Even though it is on the very country side it is definitely worth a visit!
