What a wonderful dining experience. The service was excellent, the ambiance was warm and welcoming,…read moreand the food was delicious. We had a family of 8 and tried a number of dishes including chicken masala, tandoori chicken, lentil and chickpea dishes. Super tasty! The owner was extremely kind and friendly - he even brought out ice cream to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Highly recommended.

Amazing!! The food is always incredible. Both the Mango and Strawberry Lassi's were great. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, and the owner was a pleasure as he walls around and chatted with everyone. He wanted to make sure we were eating our Naan first while it was hot, and then focus on the rice afterwards. (Advice that changed my life, I was always a rice first sort of guy). The tables didn't feel too tight, it definitely gets loud with the dinner rush but nothing more than you would expect. Such an awesome place with great flavor! I loved reviewing restaurants in Logan, but there's only so much up there... now that we've moved to Utah County I'm excited to get back into the food scene! All that to say excuse my lack of pictures, I'm a little rusty haha. But trust me when I say this was awesome food!!

Decent indian food, big portions, and not badly priced…read more Ambiance: Big restaurant with lots of seating on the inside. There's a tiny bar when you first walk in as well. Service: Quick and friendly. Food: Got the Sesame Crispy Potato, garlic potatoes, and the chicken tikka masala. Everything was pretty good tbh and they definitely do not skimp on the spice when you ask for it which was a pleasant surprise! The tikka masala was a bit sweeter than I'd like and I ran out of meat way before I ran out of the curry, but it was good. Overall, decent Indian place. Nothing amazing, but it's got everything you need.

This was my family's first trip to Jalwa since it used to be the former Aroma Indian restaurant…read morethat we have patronized for years. The new interior refresh is nice, modern, and inviting...and a pleasant departure from the typical Indian restaurant... Although I think some modern cultural artwork, paintings, and decorations would be very fitting as an add-on to the Jalwa restaurant. Our waiter was very pleasant (although he spoke in hushed tones...and it was difficult to hear him.) He also got a little confused as to what we were looking for with respect to just wanting the papadums with chutney (which is a standard appetizer at most Indian restaurants that we've patronized,) but instead we got vegetable pakora with chutney and just plain papadums on the side. Hmmmm. Nevertheless, it was all delicious. My wife's main entree was the butter chicken, and we both shared a saag aloo. I had my go-to chicken vindaloo, and it was delicious. The portion sizes are humongous, which is a nice departure from the typical Indian restaurant where you pay $15 and get maybe half the bowl that Jalwa provides. Overall, an excellent experience and will be back to patronize more often. Oh, and they're newly updated and revised menu is awesome! Dozens and dozens of options. It took us at least 10 minutes to get through it all to figure out what we wanted! Four stars for good food (and plenty of it), good service, and a nice new atmosphere as compared to Aroma. Absolutely recommend!
