I was gifted a cleaning by my kids for Mothers Day. My priorities were to have my floors, baseboards and windows cleaned. When the cleaners got here we went over those priorities and they said it should take 3 1/2 hours. It took five and my hard wood floors and baseboards in the main living area got done and not a single window was cleaned. They cleaned my two bathrooms (not a priority) wiped the kitchen counters (my kitchen was already spotless) and STARTED cleaning two ovens. When I went to put dinner in the oven that night I found that neither of the ovens had the cleaner wiped out of them. To top it all off, she got oven cleaner on the panel of my island which striped the paint off down to the wood. The whole side now has to be stripped, primed and re painted. The only thing they would do was to take half off the price. I now have to pay for the repairs. They shouldn't have charged anything for such horrible service! I understand mistakes are made sometimes and some workers may not have all the experience they need but to make your customer pay for that is a horrible business practice. We were amazed when we saw that they were able to remove silver nitrate (my husband spilled) off of our bathroom floor. We never thought it would come off! In March 2022 I contacted Clean & Simple to perform a move out cleaning. It was made clear that the cleaning needs to be thorough as the home was being listed for sale. They quoted 2 cleaners for 6 hours for $816 and came out in April. After the services were "completed" I went and did an inspection and found that multiple areas of the home were still dirty or not cleaned at all. I contacted Clean & Simple and sent them pictures. Susan, the manager, came out to the home and agreed this was not to their standards and she would talk to the owner, Stacie, about getting another team out to home at no cost to me. The second cleaners showed up the next day and determined they would need to reclean the entire home as well as the areas that were missed. This time, the services were provided and the home was properly cleaned. A few days later I was charged $1,645.60. I contacted Clean & Simple and the manager stated that I was billed at once for two invoices that were never sent to me. After reviewing the invoices, I spoke with the owner who very difficultly said she would refund 50% of the first services and that is it. I told her that is not acceptable, the services were not provided and should I not being paying twice for a service that was not completed. She disagreed and I told her I would dispute the remaining balance of the first services not performed with my bank. The owner never responded to the banks inquiry about the charge and instead sent me to collections in December for the non-invoiced amount of $1,359.60. I do not owe this amount nor do I know how this amount came to be. read more

This is the best cleaning service ever! They do EVERYTHING - they even make the clutter look nice! You don't have to clean everything before they come. If I could give a Minus One, I would do it. These people showed up at our house with vacuums that didn't work well, as written list of precisely needed to be done, and they failed miserably. The details would be overwhelming, but suffice to say...their service was not good at all. I would never hire these people to do any work for us in the future. Not only was their work far sub-standard, their communication after the fact was horrid, and they ended up trying to charge my credit card for the terrible work (I reported it as fraud to my card company) a month or so after we let them know how unhappy we were with their work. The work is very consistent, even though the crews are usually different. They are efficient and thorough in cleaning, and the prices charged seem quite fair compared to some of their competitors. The cleaning teams are also supremely friendly and responsive. They often follow up to confirm that everything is in order. Our most recent cleaning, provided by Kayla and Winter, was excellent. Every surface is glossy (except the carpet, that would be weird). DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!! I hired Clean and Simple to clean my home. They came and gave me an estimate of what I wanted done on a bimonthly basis. They were busy so they couldn't come to my home for a month. When they got there they didn't clean the house the way I was told they would. They didn't wash the floors, they didn't clean the microwave, they didn't clean the basement, they barely cleaned my bathroom and the main bathroom. They did a very horrible job and charged me 300 dollars for it. When I called the company they said that one of the people they sent to my home was a recovering addict of some sort. That person said that they found needles in my basement and freaked out. There were no needles in my basement. There were used syringes in the garbage because of one of our cats was injured with a cut on her abdomen and had to have surgery to fix it. The syringes were pre filled at the vet's office and filled with antibiotics and pain killers for the cat. There were never needles on the syringes, we squirted the liquid medication into the cat's mouth. I have breast cancer and smoke medical marijuana (it's legal) so that I don't vomit all day long and so that some food will stay in my stomach. I ate lunch while they were here and had no choice but to prevent vomiting by smoking the medical marijuana. I have the right to not die. I also have the right to do all I can to make living not be a 24-7 situation of me vomiting all the time and suffering. The recovering addicted freaked out. I talked to Clean and Simple about all of this and they said they wouldn't clean my house anymore. I was very polite to the people who came to my home. I offered them food or beverages. I told them they did a good job even though they didn't. I didn't do anything wrong. Yet Clean and Simple tells me they won't clean my home. I was able to get them to refund me some of my money. read more

I filled out an online quote request, and their website says someone would get back to me within 24 hours. 4 or 5 days later, I still hadn't heard from them, so I filled out another one. Still nothing. Today, almost 2 weeks later, I get an email from their manager Janet basically saying they were extremely busy and limiting the number of estimates they're giving, and they'd call me when they could fit me in. It started out great, but the quality has really decreased over the last 3 or so years, and they made a few deal-breaking mistakes recently. So, we've discontinued their services. The last straws for us were leaving our front door unlocked, then another time coming out to re-clean our house after we weren't happy and not waiting for our call back that it was ok. ie. they left a phone message about it in response to our complaint, and came out later that day, although I hadn't called back to say it was ok (we were traveling and I didn't check my phone). Although they have a key, there is an expectation they will only come on scheduled days/times, unless specifically discussed (we hadn't specifically asked for it to be re-cleaned, only that we weren't happy). The time they came back to re-clean was because they had left piles of dust & dirt, nothing was moved to clean behind/under in the bathroom, etc. They have also left cleaning supplies behind, and taken some of our cleaning supplies that were in the laundry room. They have left also the gas fireplace on in the middle of summer (switched accidentally I guess) so we got home and it was ridiculously hot. Lights left on. Once they called to say they forgot to charge our card for a cleaning a few months earlier and would be doing so (who does that?). At first we liked there wasn't any chemical smell when we came home, but lately there had been a bad smell, so either they have always used smelly stuff and have been cleaning our home later, or switched supplies. I think the cleaners must be pressed to get in & out very quickly and/or they have had turnover, as it has been a steep decline. We asked for very straight forward services (the basics such as floors, bathrooms, & dusting), have everything out of the way and no clutter, etc. At the end of the day we were paying way too much money to be unhappy with the service. We'd have to clean up after them, putting things back where they were, unfolding towels on the bar so they would dry, re-center rugs, etc. They seem to focus more on making the house look like it was cleaned (fold towels on towel bars and toilet paper, make vacuum lines, etc) than a good thorough cleaning. We gave them several last chances with calls of complaints, mostly as we didn't want the trouble of finding someone else, especially as they were the cheapest of 3 quotes we originally got. A couple times they even said they would take money off, but didn't. I'm not looking forward to finding a new cleaning service, but hopefully we'll be happier with them. They have some great qualities such as locally owned and reasonable prices, and at their best the home looked great (I can never get the shower glass to look that good), but they need to get their act together. I'd rather pay a bit more and be happy. read more

We were very disappointed with our cleaning, no light fixtures were cleaned, no baseboards were cleaned, and no picture on walls were dusted. We asked for a deep clean wich web site shows as including oven cleaning, but they didn't clean it when I called they said it was move in move out.cleanings only. Even though web site says different. I am a very, very picky customer, for sure, but Clean & Simple won me over. I previously used a lower-priced competitor, but it's quite obvious, in this case, that you get what you pay for. I hired C & S to clean before a party. They sent over a team of three (Maria D, Liliana & Nancy.) They were here for 2.5 hours. I only asked them to do the community areas, no bedrooms. 7.5 man hours to clean the rest of my home. That equals a lot of good detail cleaning! I was gone most of the time, but my husband, who was working in the back yard, said that every time he entered the house, they were moving, and moving quickly. They were fast and efficient. When I saw the house after they'd finished, it looked show room clean. They only thing they appeared to miss was dumping the garbage and trash cans. However, I am now very proud to open my home to my guests. read more

We used to love Clean & Simple when we first used them starting in 2012, but we finally had to let them go and search for a new service. They do a good basic cleaning job, but sometimes they don't move items in the kitchen to wipe down counters. Since they don't have the same group come to the house (and sometimes only one person comes), the cleaning quality is inconsistent. Sometimes they were here for an hour and did a low quality job, other times they'd be here for two hours and do a great job. We also had quite a few issues with them leaving our house completely unlocked and/or unalarmed. I don't know why it's been a struggle for them to double check that one of them locked the door and set the alarm, but it's happened repeatedly and this was the final straw, especially around the holidays- it just isn't worth the risk :( read more

Nice job cleaning and very nice ladies doing the cleaning. They clean exactly what they said they would clean in the original contract. There is room for flexibility if I want to change something. Customer service is easy to contact and very friendly. When I have to be home with my babies they work around us and are sweet with the kids. Plus, this company uses part of its proceeds to provide free cleanings for people with cancer in the area that have a hard time cleaning their own homes.
