I cancelled my service with these so called business people before Thanksgiving and they have yet to pick up their trash can !! I've called at least once a week since before Thanksgiving, practically begging them to come remove their trash can and I'm told "a supervisor has been notified and it will be picked up on Wednesday." It's always Wednesday but Wednesday never gets here !! This is piss poor management if you ask me, and, definitely poor supervision !! The kid answering the phone should be filing instead because he don't seem to know is tail from a hole in the ground, never has answers, only says "I'll let the supervisor know" !! If you want professionalism and good customer service, for God sakes don't do business with these people !! read more

I couldn't agree more with the reviews here. Ever since our city chose them as our trash & recycling company, we have been experiencing one problem after another. Trying to reach them to fix said problem is like yelling into an abyss. No live person EVER answers their phone. No one EVER returns your call. Therefore, the problem is NEVER fixed or resolved. More often than not, they leave behind more trash than they collect. And, in order to collect our recycling, we have to enclose all recycling in PLASTIC bags--thereby wastefully consuming the very thing about which we're trying to act responsibly. Why is there this disconnect?!?! We, too, have experienced all the problems mentioned by the other customers here (skipping collection days, leaving trash behind, refusing to take trash, never answering their phone, never returning calls, etc.). It has become MORE than frustrating--obviously, since I have NEVER written an online review before, but am spending part of my night doing one now. If you are considering using them for your service--BELIEVE what you read here. They are awful and will cause you headaches. BEWARE!!!! read more

I switched to clean earth bc my neighborhood development switched & bc they offered recycling. I have been continually disappointed at how messy they are leaving trash behind every week. When they did not pick up my recycling last week, I immediately called, left message for someone to come pick it up bc my bin was out as usual by 7am. Aftet no response, I called 2 more times. Finally spoke to receptionist who said she would credit my account for the week missed. She also said she would have the route manager call me since I had left messages. Four days later...no response. I called this morning to cancel service & reporting to my home owners. read more

One of their drivers rear ended my commercial van and it took 4 days to get their insurance info after 3 calls to General Manager Polly! If there is conflict on the other end of the phone you will not be able to speak to anyone with any authority. My last call to Polly was finally referred to their insurance carrier. What a nightmare this has been after being hit by their driver. Also no one...absoulutely no one called from Clean Earth to check on my condition after the wreck. I use Clean Earth for 12 years but decided to change in 10/11 to a much less expensive service. I have now tried for the past 3 months to get them to refund my last quarter payment since I did not use their service. So far no luck although I have been told at least 3 times I would receive a check. As another reviewer stated, you can't get them on the phone and they don't return your calls.
