I've been here now twice ~3 weeks. I came here first for a Yelp Elite event, and had some hypopigmentation from using a strong retinol and had been breaking out. I bought their Savasana toner and Dancer face oil after their Hey Handsome special facial. I came back after experiencing some breakouts again. Above and beyond service: I was late for my first appointment and they were patient with me and recommended that I come back to get the full experience. My make up appointment I was super early and they accommodated me. My "skin boss" got sick for my second appointment and they quickly found someone to step in. I added the virgin bundle. Amazing results: My skin has been SO much happier. My hypopigmentation is nearly all gone and my breakouts are more under control. I had a great 30 minute facial here as part of a Yelp event. I hadn't heard of them prior, but learned this location has been here for 5+ years and rebranded to CYDF. The check-in process was pretty quick. There's a form to fill out asking about your skin-care needs and skin-type (dry, oily, acne prone, etc) to ensure you get the care & products that are right for your skin-type. There are ad-ons for a fee and I decided to do the Aqua Collagen Eye Pads for $10 which I'm glad I did. The place itself isn't very big, but it's bright, open, and felt very clean. I didn't have to wait long and it seems they get a good amount of foot traffic so you're in and out without much waiting around. The chairs are set up in one room like a hair salon, but not crowded. I mention this because if you're looking for more of a relaxing, meditative setting this isn't that. It's a fun vibe with great music and upbeat energy. Your head is back and your eyes are closed so it's still relaxing, just in a different setting. Lexy was awesome. She started with asking how my skin has been feeling and tailored the products she used to help with some inflammation and breakouts I've been having. She explained everything in detail with each step (there was about 5-6). She started with some steam and then it was a mix of cleaning, exfoliating, moisturizing, massage, warm towel wrap, oil, and SPF. The products are made with essential oils and I loved the aromatherapy aspect of the facial, especially the lemon scent. It was relaxing and felt longer than 30 mins. The ice roller was rejuvenating & offset the warm steam nicely. All in all, it was a great experience and my skin was vibrant and felt super refreshed. It's the perfect spot if you're looking to get a quick facial for a night out or just need that pick-me-up that won't break the bank. Prices are pretty reasonable and they offer deals and packages. Amazing! I have had quite a few facials and had been regularly going to a spa in Denver until I found this place! I don't get to go into Boulder very often, so I was a little intimidated about the whole finding parking situation, but the location of this place has made it so easy. They are located on a corner and have a bright hot pink sign out front so you literally cannot miss it. There is ample parking in front of their building and about a block down as well. It's park-n-pay, but since the facials here are 30 minutes, you don't have to pay very much. The best thing about this store is they are open on Sundays! Not only that, but parking is free on Sundays :) When you first walk in, you are greeted right away. The waiting area is very bright, clean, and well organized. Since the decor is primarily white, your eyes are immediately drawn to the large display of retail products for sale. The products are all encased in fun colorful boxes. The esthetician greets you and brings you around the corner where there are 2 white plush dental-type chairs. She asks about your skin, skincare routine, products you are using, etc. She then assesses your skin to determine which products to use that day. Next is where the pure bliss happens! So far, I've been twice and they are hands down the best facials I've ever had! So incredibly relaxing and wonderful. The staff is polite, knowledgeable, and not at all pushy when it comes to products or add-on services. They offer really nice packages as well. I signed up for the monthly unlimited package, which gives you 1 facial every week. It's $110 a month and you can cancel any time. I found MudbuM on Groupon. It was newer, so I decided to do some research online. Although I did not buy the Groupon, they were offering a discounted facial online for new customers so I decided to give it a try. It was easy to book online, but it wasn't very convenient. At the time, they were only open late afternoons and had one person doing facials so the time slots were rare. I hate paying to park. It's one of those personal things, that really had no effect on my review. But it's on the Pearl Street Mall and parking was not easy. I mention this only for the reason that most of the time when I'm booking services I search on Yelp and see if a private parking lot is noted. Again, personal preference. But worth noting. The facial was a quick 30 minutes. My aesthetician did a great job. But it was QUICK. Everything is an add on and an additional expense. I felt like I could wash my face myself? I get facials for all the add ins and here anything additional is just that... additional money. Was it worth the discounted price? Yes. Is it worth full price? No. I am easily persuaded into buying merchandise and did buy a green detox mask for $40+ which I use often as recommended and do not see many results. read more

I just visited for a facial on Friday, and had a great experience. The studio was very clean and organized, all the products are natural, and they have a fun atmosphere. It's a totally different vibe then the typical spa facial, and a great place for people looking for the simplicity in improving their skin. Awful customer service, lack of transparency about pricing. It's a shame because the facial itself was good and the esthetician was kind.

I came here with the "$40 for $50 Deal at Mud Facial Bar" listed here on this Yelp page to try out the infamous breast milk facial, and that was a mistake. I'm guessing they got it figured out now that I've spoken to the owner, but when we walked in with these deals it was like we had walked into a Michelin-starred restaurant trying to pay with food stamps. The college aged (but obviously not even kindergarten educated) girl at the front desk was asking us "what do I do with this?" and "how do I enter this in the system?"...I don't know lady...I don't work here. She was also just super rude and rolling her eyes the whole time. Worst case, I would have rather her politely declined to even accept my offer and make us pay the full price (and we could have argued with Yelp later to get a refund) than behave the way she did. The owner did take responsibility for the girl not knowing about the Yelp deal, but she should have staff that can be able to handle any situation...it really stressed us out and took away from our experience. After the initial fiasco, we were probably hypersensitive to the whole experience, but there was other odd things like having me put my keys/phone in a planter...which the owner explained to me they used as a cubby for things...weird, but ok. My other issue was the music they were playing had full-on use of the N word, F word, MF word...LOL. I'm not super sensitive to this stuff, but my mom would have ran out of the place! The facial itself was great...the cooling globes are amazing! Because my facial was so good, I was kind of relaxed toward the end of it. But here's where it gets WEIRD...when I go up to pay, not only am I asked out loud how much I want to tip, but after 5 minutes of fiddling with the computer, this gal is trying to charge me full price again. I was like "what about the Yelp deal?" and she looked at us as if we had lost our mind! At this point we had to laugh, because how could she forget the whole Yelp deal ordeal from 30 minutes ago - it was like I was in Finding Dory, but it wasn't cute. I love CYDF! So glad my mom and I found this super fun, clean, beautiful facial bar. I joined as a member after my first visit, and couldn't recommend more highly. Coming in every week or so for a refreshing and cleansing facial has been amazing for my skin. It feels like such a wonderful self-care treat, and has given me great insights into skin care and a good routine for my skin type. The employees are fabulous, all so caring, attentive, helpful and kind. I've had facials with Sammy, Bella, and Mollie and all of them are incredible. I cannot live without my monthly breastmilk facial! I also cannot believe the backlash this place is constantly getting for advertising that they offer a breastmilk facial (breaking their glass window where the sign was... really?) Stop jumping to conclusions and maybe ask where they get it from! If you do not understand all the amazing benefits breastmilk has for your skin, maybe you should educate yourself before being so nasty or actually being destructive to someones property. AND if you're that repulsed by the idea of breastmilk on your face, you know what you could do, NOT get the breastmilk facial, or just not do business here! That sucks for all the people that are too closed minded to try something new that they maybe don't understand. Keep using your Cetaphil facial products and be sad. Facials last 30 minutes and I showed up 9 minutes late (after 10 they reschedule you, so plan extra time for parking!), and somehow she made it feel not rushed and I got a ton of treatments. She worked with what my skin needed, and it was dry and I had a breakout. She also found a way to massage my face the whole time so it was totally relaxing. I woke up today with completely clear glowing skin. I will be back for sure, booked my next appt in 2 weeks, can't wait!! read more

Located on pearl street mall this little spa is the perfect treat-yo-self excuse. MudbuM facials are a quick in and out. They don't require you to get into a robe to start the exfoliation. I got the hydrating facial with a breast milk add-on (lol). Don't be afraid. The mask is followed by a cooling massage that feels amazing. I love going to Clean Your Dirty Face! The esthetician (Sammy) was great and very knowledgeable. I love the steam and the whole facial process especially the globe thingy (I bought one) and massage. The receptionist was very friendly and offer me the menu of the add on service (I usually just add what the esthetician recommends) and asked if I wanted some water. If I have time and a better budget I would definitely go often. I wish parking is closer and free (only cost $1.5 for an hour) but it won't stop me from going back. read more
