Cesar is a really friendly guy. He is very disorganized, inefficient, and not punctual! The quote was to include cleaning the existing gutter, inside and out, and installing gutter guards and two downspouts! With a leakproof guarantee. The gutters leak and he has been back out 2 additional times, water does not drain from gutters and is just sitting in the gutters, not moving. The downspout was not attached to the wall or anything but the top gutter piece, it is literally flying around! needless to say, it is worse than before he came out and I wasted my money and will have to start over with someone else! read more

Absolutely horrific experience. We moved into a home last summer and knew that there would repairs and preventative measures we would need to make to the fireplace before we used it. Cesar was very responsive and polite. Provided a quote we thought was fair enough and completed the work in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, we immediately realized that the actual work that was done was either pitiful in quality, or insufficient to the needs we needed. We were told that the actual gas line going into the fireplace was in "perfect working order". However, we started using it and there was a loud whooshing noise coming from the fireplace. I contacted Cesar and he told me it could be a microcrack in the line. Just based on timing if that was true there is a zero percent change that either wasn't existing when Cesar told us it was in perfect shape, or he would have somehow caused it. Because our trust in Cesar's expertise had now eroded we brought in a second opinion who validated that the work that was done was woefully insufficient to what we had asked. We had to then pay this man more than $1,000 on top of the HUNDREDS of dollars we had paid Cesar to get the work done correctly. I reached back out to the Cesar to let him know what had happened and proposed an arrangement where we would receive a partial refund for the horrible work, omitting fees associated with the cleaning of the actual fireplace which was done in an at least satisfactory manner. For a while Cesar would respond and to offer to come take a look at the fireplace again but at this point, we had his errors fixed since it's a literal life safety issue and we have small children. I told Cesar that if we did not figure out the partial refund, I would make this review and eventually, he stopped responding. I implore everyone to not hire Cesar to assist with fireplace repairs. My experience is that he knows it is a niche expertise to have and what he charged us based on the work he did was nothing less than predatory. read more

Today I was amazed. Preface... Last May, shortly after my divorce, I bought here in Cinco and my dog, Luca, and I moved in this past July after having some much-needed work done. The floorplan, high ceilings and size were perfect for us. Since then, I have frequently felt like I am living a remake of Tom Hank's old movie, "The Money Pit" and my enthusiasm has been replaced with frustration, anger, and disgust at how many of the "professionals" that I've hired and entrusted to do work have taken advantage. My friend's husband and their son (may God bless them as my gratitude is profound) came and informed me where things weren't right, re-did a lot of stuff, helped me with several projects and did a far better job than the ones that I'd hired. I've been lied to, over-charged, jobs were performed sloppily, or the most insulting has been work not done at all and their painfully obvious inconvenience to return to complete what they were paid to do in the first place. This has left me apprehensive with little faith or trust in companies. So, to turn my experiences into a positive, I am taking the time to write in length and personally mention the companies and individual's name that I've encountered that are good, honest and do their job well in effort that others may consider their services. I want good companies to know that I appreciate them and to recognize a job well done as their performance met or exceeded my expectations. Today my expectations were exceeded. I sent a message around 11 pm last night asking if they could come out today. I thought I was sending the message to the company, and they'd get it this morning but to my surprise I received a response within a few minutes from Cesar and he was able to fit me in this afternoon. Cesar came out, arrived on time, and performed an inspection of my fireplace and chimney and did the chimney sweep. When he finished, with photos he explained what he had inspected and showed me the important aspects that could have issues. He told me that everything was in good condition except for the cap is old and he stated that while he could provide me with an estimate, he felt it didn't need replacing it quite yet. There were problems locating the valve needed for our fireplace which cause unexpected delays which was frustrating but how Cleaner Texan came through for us was great. I try to be as fair as possible with this review since Cesar was very friendly and polite, however absolutely unprofessional! He gave me a quote for cleaning gutters and all windows from the outside. I called him to confirm the quote. First attempt he didn't show up and after I had to call him he said he forgot and would come a few days later. I said okay no worries. So he came while I was not at home a few days later cleaned the gutters good but left a mess behind all around the house. He confirmed the job was done so he got paid. As I arrived at home I saw that several windows were not cleaned at all. As I reached out to him he said he misunderstood and thought only the gutters and 3 of my windows were requested?! Makes no sense to me at all?! He said he would come back to finish the job and moved the follow up appointment 4 times!!! As he finally came to finish the job he left a bigger mess behind than the first time, my front porch was muddy and nasty. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of everything but have a couple attached.
