As with others I also got scammed by this company. I paid for an end of tenancy clean with extra payments for blinds. They didn't clean properly and the blinds weren't touched at all. With that in mind and having booked an end of tenancy deep clean for a one bedroom flat for the day we move, it turned into a nightmare in terms of service and professionalism. We booked them in for a 11.30am slot and they turned up well over an hour late. By this time we were already unpacking in our new house and being over at the new property I left it with the landlord to let them in as he was already at the property. I get a call at 12.45pm from cleanerslondon saying the property was in a bit of a state and needed the full amount of £137 up front. We explained that we agreed to pay on completion but they were very aggressive saying that if we didn't pay straight away they would leave without completing the job. So, I make a move back to the old property to pay them to start the work. Whilst I was making my way over, I got 2 phone calls asking where I was as they would leave if I didn't show up within the next 10-15 minutes. I managed to get there on time and pay them and requested the cleaners to phone me on completion of the job in which they said it would take between 2.5 - 3.5 hours. I didn't get a call on completion and when my landlord called to say they had finished, I went back to see how they did the clean. I was very disappointed by the fact that they spent just over 2 hours and with what they described on their site providing a very shoddy service. There was still grime and grease on top of the cabinet doors, the place wasn't thoroughly hoovered. There was still dust in between the radiators and on the skirting. Please don't use this company as it's clear they're just after your money and don't care enough about the customer in an already stressful day. However, after they left, I discovered that they had broken the door off my oven, and balanced it back on so as to conceal the damage. When I submitted a complaint, with photo evidence, less than 4 hours after the cleaners left, I was informed that they were not liable since any complaints had to be made whilst the cleaners were in the property. There were 4 cleaners at my house on Saturday, they arrived 25 mins late and had finished and were having a cigarette break when I arrived back to my house at 11am. I don't actually know how many hours they worked. Because of this I refused to pay the full amount and was kept on hold by the company for 10mins whilst we negotiated over the final price. I ended up paying for 1 hour less than planned (- £14 pounds less). Overall I was given 2 minutes to check the job before the cleaners left. I noted that one of my new painted walls had been scratched and when I disputed this with one of the cleaners she said it wasn't them. After moving into my property I noticed that there remained a significant amount of dust, cobwebs and grease over my oven and there was still mould in my shower which I have had to clean myself. Given I've paid for 16 hours of cleaning I would have expected more than a general wipe down. Don't expect much for your money read more

SCAM Company - Avoid at all costs Same experience as other users. "Cleaning" service was absolutely shocking - no effort was made to clean anything properly. I paid £160 CASH plus parking for 3 people to chat, smoke cigarettes, hoover and use a dirty mop to move dirt around my apartment. When I saw they had packed up and had already left my property I questioned why everything was still looking dirty. The response was rude and they were not willing to do the clean properly. Excuses given were not having the right cleaning equipment (a brush) and fingers not being small enough - absolute joke. When I complained to the office (with photos) I was sent excerpts apparently from their T&Cs that state that I am not entitled to any refund. No apology and no admission of wrong doing. Scam. SIX AND A HALF HOURS LATE We had originally booked cleaners from this company for a 10:00 end-of-tenancy clean, having arranged our removal people and inventory clerk visit around them. They then called two days before the arranged clean to change the visit time to 15:00. After we re-arranged everything else, they eventually turned up at 16:30, and spent 3 hours "cleaning" our 1-bedroom apartment. INITIAL POOR CLEANING JOB The inventory clerk was able to point out their awful work immediately. The cleaners left dust, dirt and debris on the floors, skirting boards, mirrors, windows and frames. The bedroom carpet looked like it wasn't cleaned at all. They claimed that the reason why they were unable to clean the carpet was because of its age, which is untrue - the experienced clerk informed me that their steam cleaner was simply below-par. The job looked like it had been done with a standard domestic steam cleaner - if you're hoping to pass an end-of-tenancy inventory check, you need to hire cleaners from a proper company with a professional-grade steam cleaner who can make your carpet look good as new. We were eventually docked £150 from our deposit (more than the clean itself initially cost!) for a further cleaning charge. BROKEN OVEN DOOR To make matters worse, they also broke our oven door while cleaning it, something which we eventually were docked a total of £283 from our deposit to pay for. The company claimed that as their cleaners did not disassemble any of the oven parts, they weren't to be held responsible for the issue. Unfortunately, we didn't think to take photos of the oven before the cleaners came, otherwise we would have had proof that the oven door wasn't broken before their visit. STOLEN ITEMS Before leaving the cleaners at the property, I asked if it would be alright to leave them with a small trolley that contained an A3 printer and a set of speakers (worth a combined ~£200), to which they confirmed. When I returned to the property, I was too busy looking attempting to look at the cleaning work they'd done to notice the trolley was missing. As other reviewers who had items stolen have noted, the company claimed I told the cleaners to throw the items in the bin, which I didn't. They also definitely didn't leave the items by the bins, because these are inaccessible to the public, and you walk past them when you enter the property, so I would have seen if they had. The company then claimed that because I left items in the property, I was in breach of their Terms & Conditions, which state that properties must be left vacant of personal belongings. Apparently this means their cleaners are allowed to steal from you. MADE-UP Ts&Cs They repeatedly quoted made-up Terms & Conditions in order to absolve themselves of responsibility, including claims that any issues with cleanliness/damage had to be reported verbally by the client to the cleaner upon returning to the property (in reality, their actual Ts&Cs state that a client has 24 hours to make any complaints in writing). Please, if for some reason you do want to use this company, read their terms before doing so to protect yourself. RETURN VISIT After much back-and-forth, we had the company send some cleaners for a return to the property after we had moved out to make good on all the above. Perhaps we should have seen it coming, but according to the estate agents, their cleaner turned up to pick up the keys, and was back to return them within 25 minutes. A man and woman turned up and cleaned for three hours. They only covered half the cleaning I was being charged for. I would have completed the work by myself in three hours. I want to give 0 stars This company only deal with cash. They go under 2 names on 2 different websites . They do not have an address registered to either !! which by the way therefore makes any agreements between you and them non binding . They basically were very late which made me be late for work thus not being able to come and check the work. I booked for a "deep clean "(see their websites for details)for 4 hours with 2 cleaners = 8 hours work! I left cash for this plus parking . I paid over 130 pounds. I came home to find literally nothing done and the cash gone. I have photos and video footage. They are refusing to investigate their staff and refuse to refund me any money as although I verbally complained immediately I didn't complain via email until a few days later as I was away.Therefore they say my complaint wasn't done on the day which makes it irrelevant . AVOID!!! My experience is like every other online with this company. The cleaners walked in and took photos, only one spoke, and he spent the majority of his time cleaning, speaking on the phone. They didn't clean under a table, left stains in the cupboards and claimed that it was cleaned, or that the stains were not able to be removed. Well, we later wiped them down with an antibac wipe, and had to clean the dust under the table. We had a some luggage laid on the bed to be moved that day and asked if it was "OK" to which the cleaner resounded "yes yes of course". Turns out not as the company later called and said they had cancelled our guarantee as the property wasn't emptied. We would have happily brought the luggage out, but as the cleaner said it was fine, we kept it. So they lied. The most interesting thing about the whole story is that we had a half empty bottle of vodka in the kitchen which went missing, and was later spotted in the cleaners car when we went to pay. They claim they chucked it in the garbage. Weird that the same label/brand vodka was just in their car. They took all the bin bags left in the flat although they are supposed to bring their cleaning supplies? I called the customer service who are like a broken record and "cant help you on the phone but only through email as they cant record phone calls". They can only make bookings on the phone aka get your money but then will ignore you. Emails back and forth resulted in NOTHING, they are lying about not doing the clean properly, about the missing items etc, and not even addressing the cleaners lying about the guarantee/spending time chatting away on their phone doing private phone calls. I am really shocked at this and their behaviour, I have no words for. I am STILL waiting for the receipt a day later, they first lied that they hadn't received my email request for a receipt, and then told me their accounting had closed so I had to wait for the next day. Isn't the whole purpose of an end-of-tenancy clean to have a receipt to show your landlord? Well I have now missed my deadline there. I'm completely disappointed with Cleaners London. I booked a cleaner for 2pm on a Friday, (having taken a day off work) only be told on the day that this would be at 5pm, followed by a text stating 5.30pm. The cleaner still arrived late, with a bad attitude (6 hours deep clean for a small flat wasn't 'enough' apparently!). She was huffing and puffing throughout, and I was then told the 4 small dishes in the sink would not be cleaned. Irrespective of whether 'dishes' are not included in a deep clean (although this seems strange for a cleaning service) there are literally 4 small dishes in the sink which for the sake of washing, Cleaners London seemed to have created an unnecessary argument. The cleaner refused, then agreed, then went outside and loudly called her employer to complain - who then in turn called me whilst she waited outside?! It was so bizarre I had to cancel due to timeliness, attitude and lack of any good will gesture or apology. Terrible service. Don't use them! read more

This cleaning company is the WORST cleaning company ever! DO NOT USE THEM! They charged me £181 for a deep clean of a very small 3 bed flat. They sent 4 cleaners for 3 hours and did the worst job I have ever seen! They promised everything would be done of which half they didn't even do i.e the fridge/freezer, kitchen bin to name just a few of the things from a very long list. The carpet wasn't even hoovered properly and there was dust left on surfaces! After a lot of angry phone calls and emails they agreed to come back and do a re-clean but only of the things I had pointed out hadn't been done in an email - even though the whole job had been done terribly! Excepting this was the best I was going to get out of them, I had to organise the part re-clean to a time that suited them sacrificing my own work, and then they we 2 hours late which they failed to inform me of directly! They also blocked my bath by pouring dirty mop water down it and have scratched the stainless steel town rail and fridge/freezer because they used a metal scourer to clean. They refuse to acknowledge my complaints and I have requested to be compensated but they will not listen/respond adequately. This is just the beginning. I could go on and on but I have wasted a week complaining to them and they just do not care. It is amazing that they have an operating business. JUST NEVER EVER USE THEM. I would avoid Cleaners London at all costs. The clean was substandard but as the landlord was unable to inspect within 2 days they made no effort to rectify the problem. To be fully transparent there had been a period of 17 days elapsed and I made clear I acknowledged that I was aware of this but we made certain that nobody could access the house between the clean and the inspection. The level of the negligence was such that any reputable company who had any interest in doing a professional service would have not have hesitated to correct the problem and issue an apology. When I made a complaint the customer service was woefully inadequate and stunningly unprofessional - I was speechless at the rudeness of Maria who claimed to be a supervisor. When the report came there were images that they had left dirt and finger marks all over the cupboards, neglected areas of the flat entirely. On receipt on the report (from a third party inventory company) which clearly stated quite significant further cleaning was necessary tried to get me to pay them more to fix their mistake. I'm beyond disappointed and would warn others to choose another company to avoid being penalised by your landlord and treated badly by an apparently 'professional' company. I am currently also on the point of reporting them for fraudulent activity as I have asked for their company number and registered address which do not appear on their website or receipts five times and have only received 'We are a legal company' in response. We are landlords and used this company to clean our flat before tenants moved in. We needed the clean to be undertaken fairly quickly as the inventory was being undertaken the next day to record the state and condition of the property prior to letting to the new tenants. Although the clean was undertaken quickly it was not undertaken to a professional standard. Urine stains which were not their previously (we had lived in the flat before we moved out) were left in the toilet, the cooker wasn't properly clean and although surfaces had been wiped I would not say that the flat has been thoroughly cleaned to a standard of professional cleaners. I could have done much better myself if I had the time! We complained to the company and was offered a reclean, however, due to the timescales we were working to and as the inventory was due to be undertaken the day after the clean took place a reclean wasn't appropriate and could not be fitted in on time. We asked for and felt entitled to a part refund (showing photos of the state of the property) but were declined. We would not recommend this company and would actively encourage others to stay clear!
