I prefer to deal with local folks over corporate. I had issues with my lawn getting worse. I had more bare spots than ever before, they clipped 3 irrigation heads and replaced 2 of 3 after weeks of calling. There were areas with clear burned lawn from fertilizer, you could actually see the small piles of fertilizer in the dead spots. I called them multiple times and kept ending up with corporate and telling of my issues, which they said " first we're hearing of this"!! I finally called and canceled the service and told them why - damaged lawn, damaged irrigation, the inability to actually make my lawn look better(which of course is why I went with them in the first place, and incredibly horrific communications. All good. Cancelled service. I do it myself as before. And surprise! This morning my wife to me, "I thought you cancelled the lawn service last winter. There's a man in the yard with a lawn spreader." Are you kidding me?? Honestly?? WTF is wrong with this company??? I will say that the local branch was fine to deal with, other than the service getting worse by the application,. But corporate was absolutely useless - no records kept, same "is this your first time calling us?" "NO! I've called you over a dozen times and each time you say "Allright. We are all set. You should have no future issues." And it starts all over again. Again, save yourself the headaches, the frustration, the money, and do it yourself.

They are in and out of the property in 3-4 mins, leave gates open and spray as fast as they can. One employee said "that guy that services your lawn last time is horrible, but I'll fix it". Just a horrible experience.

I called them in August for a second treatment, but Josh told me it didn't need it. I told him we were pulling the weeds and asked to have my pre-payment refunded. I never received the refund and he didn't return my call about the refund. I'm very dissatisfied about the poor job they did and their lack of professionalism. Stay away!!!

While staying at a rental property on Cape Cod that he was hired to service (but that we were not aware anyone would be coming to work on), he backed his trailer into our car in the driveway and damaged his work trailer on the bike rack on our car. Our bike rack and car appeared fine and the damage to the trailer is minimal. But he was very aggressive and rude when we offered to move the car up more. We then moved it 2-3 more feet forward in the driveway. He said that we were parked too far out, I then asked why he didn't look while backing up and he said that he couldn't see around his trailer. I asked why he didn't check the driveway before backing up and he said that he didn't expect anyone to be here. He continued to berate me about how HE damaged his trailer on our car. I offered to move the car up more and I asked him to stop being rude and to come back to complete the work another time. He refused saying that he would be doing the work now, then told me to (direct quote) "go back in the house and be quiet." I am sure that there are many other landscapers in Yarmouth & its surroundings that can do as good a job as this guy, and also are reasonable, civilized people. I would also caution those who do own rental properties on the cape to stay away from this company, as they are not good at dealing with people, and you may be risking a bad review of an otherwise lovely property simply to have basic lawn care.

We were so pleased with the finished product. Joe and his crew from Recanto Da Serra respected the plants and trees we wanted to remain and created a nice clearing for us to sit in and enjoy.
