Avoid! The move itself was handled quickly and efficiently…read more However, the movers seriously damaged a desk and a shelving unit, and pasted gluing tape over the cracks without telling us. When I raised this, once we discovered one of the cracks two weeks later, the company denied any wrongdoing, and evidently none of the packers admitted to it. We had taken out insurance with Moves 4U, but the company refused to process the claim. Frankly, even the idea that, unless you pay extra money for insurance, if they destroy your stuff, then it's your problem, was very odd to me. But if they don't even own up to their mischief, then the insurance is worthless, and you should only hire these people if you are prepared to carry the full risk of their mistakes. The packers trying to conceal the damage is especially disgusting. I have never regretted a generous tip as much as this one!

I'm not that into my DIY and luckily the staff in here and really friendly and gave me very clear instructions on how to lay some vinyl (or something) in my tiny bathroom. After much huffing, puffing, the odd swear word and a bottle of red wine it was done! Good job done all round!
