Key cutting is good, but what about handbags..? Not one bit.
Handbag repair was NOT satisfactory. Why they have "Bag Repair" advertised is beyond me...
1) Inner lining was stitched to the outside (when it was specifically stated it wouldn't happen)
2) Stitching was VERY poorly done and is falling apart after just one hour of use! The stitching was even unfinished on one handle.
3) Stitching was done in white thread and not the same colour as the other thread (the white thread is visible where the poor, loose stitching was done)
4) The customer service was not good. He (man wearing glasses) looked unhappy to deal with us as customers. We honestly felt unwelcome even being in the store. He even had another (less stressed out) man working there who seemed to be apologising for his (glasses man) behaviour. This does not constitute a professional environment in my opinion.
5) It was not made clear by him (glasses man) when the bag would be ready, as he didn't specify on paper or take our phone number to contact us, and we ended up having to return more than a few times to check when the bag would be finished. He said "I thought I said Saturday?" when, in fact, he made Thursday the pick-up day, in an attempt to make an excuse.
My wife and I feel upset, not entirely because the bag was poorly done, but because the entire experience left us feeling "uncomfortable" for even being customers.
Overall, not a professional atmosphere, and we would not recommend this store for any type of bag repair (especially if it is delicate in its construction)
I could have bought a sewing kit and done a better job myself. read more
