I requested a call back to let me know he was doing it and when I could expect it. NO COMMUNICATION! I CALLED EACH WEEK TO SEE THE STATUS OF THE ESTIMATE AND NEVER HEARD A WORD BACK!!!!! AWFUL!!!! today I was told that I was not their only customer and how could Matt give me an estimate is he was on vacation. I replied, "He's been on vacation for a month?!" Tomorrow will be one month since he came to my house. AWFUL!!!! Another contractor warned me this might happen. "IF THEY DON'T WANT TO DO IT, THEY WON'T GIVE YOU THE TIME OF DAY." The women I spoke to at their office sounded flabbergasted when I shared that information with them. One of them looked on his desk on two separate occasions and found nothing! Make a new appointment and start over! Ignoring me is not going to make either of us happy. If you don't want to do it, just tell me, that is so much easier to handle. Years prior, as a tenant, I asked the workers of RICH ALUMINUM and SIDING if I should remove the pictures from my walls while they were replacing siding and windows. They told me it would not be necessary, I came home to smashed glass and ceramic art and debris in multiple locations of my apartment, No apologies.PATHETIC! I was not climbing a ladder to clean gutters and the age of 72. He came over looked at what had to be done and we came to a price which was good for us. He did the job and also did some repairs that he had found once up on the ladder. Since that time, we sold out house to our daughter and her husband and moved back to our original home here in Saratoga Springs and we called Mark to do a power wash on our present home. I took the shutters off and he came and did the job plus he did a couple of other things while he was here that we asked him to do. He did everything and the house looks great! He's a local guy and he is good at what he does. No high pressure sales talk from him. Just honest work. He's a good man. If you're thinking about getting getting your gutters cleaned, power wash your house, he's the man. He uses what they call a "soft wash". We were very satisfied with him and his work. I knew they were most likely swamped and didn't really think much of it when it was past 6:00 PM. To my surprise I received a call back from Rick around 8:30 PM. He apologized and came right over. It was dark but he had a light and obviously the part we needed because he was done in less than an hour. What a nice surprise these days to have such great service! I highly recommend this company.

Rick installed a Heat-pump/Gas-furnace combination August 2022. (I choose him because I wanted to…read moreuse a small business, even though he did not offer the rebates that others did) First I had no problems, the air-conditioning part work well. But come the heating season things rapidly changed. Today is 1/1/23 and not ones did the heating unit switch automatically from HP to GF. I have had to always do that manually. I have contacted Rick over and over again. He did show up a couple of times but never did fix the actually problem. He did manage however to make me feel stupid. I believe that I do not have to understand how these mechanics work but should be able to rely on the professional that I hired. (wonder if he would treat me better if I would not be a foreign, single older woman) Now there is a new problem with the thermostat, which likes to turn to the highest degrees allotted on in the middle of the night on recovery mode. Last little twist on this, now Yancy's is suddenly not available on any e-mail offered on their website or that was used in the past. They all were returned, the recipient address rejected. Text messages sent go unanswered. Tell me just what can I do ?
