Okay, about the actual campground. When we first pulled in, we were disappointed to read a sign that said, "no lake access". We didn't book for that intention, but with 'Lake Hartwell" in the campground name, we thought we might have access. Be aware. There are two halves to the campground. When you pull in, the half on the left has tent sites and sites for smaller rigs, along with full-timers. The roads there were definitely more rugged. The half on the right is definitely prepared for larger rigs; this is where we stayed. Most sites are level; all have grass; and there's a variety of full hook up, water/elec, and nothing. Bring leveling blocks just in case you need them. Pool on site; laundry on site and all machines worked. The entire campsite is well shaded, which is amazing, especially in August sun/heat. With that said, bring a broom or blower to remove all the pine cones and needles from your roof, slides and awnings. And if you hear something slamming into your roof like an asteroid or meteor, no worries. It's a pine cone from 60' up. For real, our dog thought the siege had started the first time one hit. All in all, nice campground very close to Lake Hartwell. One last thing: only 1 vehicle/site. Since we had two, I parked in the parking area - no problem.

He also dates his staff, his former Manager Bonnie what great she cared and was always available for us 24/7 and lived onsite and when he was done with her, he fired and evicted her, she was a single mom with no place to go so she lost her housing and her job. The new manger was never available, she, and relied on the some of the resident to do her job after hours and at the same time they were allowed to break the rules and when you complained about them, she ignored it. prices went up and the residents suffered. There are no amenities for the price you pay, he doesn't give any discounts especially to Veterans, they make you pay to have a DNA test of your dog's poop if your long term. They say they are a 45 and up adults only, and they are not. The owner has party's and the people going to the party race through the parking campground along with the golf carts that do not follow the speed limit. And heaven forbid if you are a good resident who pay their site fee on time and follow the rules but have a few friends over then he evicts you, he picks and chooses who you are allowed to have visit you onsite and at your camper, has even made threats to good resident he would evict if they have them onsite again. Quite time is at 9pm and the staff who live onside are not allowed to be social with the resident's if they are the owner fire and evicts them on the spot. They as well offer high speed WiFi, free drinks & snacks at the welcome center along with free printer service. Oh and did I mention the free bike wash area, a garden you can pick fresh items from and a nice dog park! The only thing I would truly add would be a wash house to do laundry. I think that would make them even more appealing. But, if not this place is still a great spot to park for a day or a week like us. Highly recommended.

Initially, we were trying to get into Davidson River campground, but of course the reservations were all booked and we couldn't find a spot. Instead, we looked in the area online and found this place, and I'm glad we did. The location is convenient to all of Brevard and the Pisgah forest, a quick 5 minute drive from anywhere in town. We stayed on site 6, which was in the far corner and it was awesome. There was a grassy area right behind which the kids played on and enjoyed, and there were really thoughtful amenities throughout the campground including a bike maintenance station, a welcome center with complimentary goodies, a nice dog park and community firepit and garden. I think all the sites are full hookup, which was a nice convenience compared to the other option. We also had super strong WiFi in the camper. I was able to work and have video calls with not a single issue. It was the best Wifi we have ever had at a campground. When we arrived, the site host stopped by to say hi and introduce herself. We also had some small maintenance to do on our camper, which she made sure she gave us all the information for service centers in the area, and offered to see if they had any tools we may be missing. This is certainly a super thoughtful and amazing place, surely worth a stop next time you're wanting to visit Brevard!

Oceneee County Deputy none to happy he had to activate sirens 3 times to be allowed in. Management DID NOT meet with him or give directions to my site. I spoke with deputy who filed a report and asked who the manager is. He asked why she wasn't in our meeting, I informed him she told me " NOT HER JOB ". He went to meet with her and asked her to send an email to all campers and ask where my items were. SHE DIDN'T ATTACH A PICTURE ! She drove by my site hours later, didn't stop. No phone call, no nothing. I was being a GOOD person and better TT member by helping a camper in DISTRESS and it cost me HUNDREDS ! NEVER AGAIN ! I HAVE attached a picture of some of the items stolen. Not pictured, a RV battery and GFI outlet, items I paid for and were to be left with other items. We know who has the battery & outlet, the other stuff probably it too. I let the deputy read the text message from the crook. He agreed, she PURPOSELY stole it. She has the battery and outlet installed in her RV and either took everything else or told another guest to take it. I'm not a mobil RV service tech, I just know stuff. A service call on a Good Friday ? Probably saved her a couple hundred dollars, but never asked or wanted to be paid, JUST REIMBURSED. I did another service call when her GFI failed. Her and her friend, ARE NOT GOOD PEOPLE. Her friend in the F section is BAD NEWS ! She'll be nice to you and throw you under anything with wheels 3 seconds later for things she makes up.
