I had a boudoir session with this photographer in 2019 when I lived in Ohio. The photo shoot was great but her communication and professionalism needs some serious attention. The package I purchased included an album. After reviewing the album proof, I requested several simple edits (swapping a few images) before approving it for print. Unfortunately, the album has still never been delivered. Over the past several years I have made repeated attempts to contact the photographer by email and Facebook Messenger to confirm the edits and finalize the album. Responses have been extremely infrequent, and most messages go unanswered. Most recently, after posting a public review, I was told that the album had been printed and would be shipped. She would respond with tracking when available. I asked for confirmation that the requested edits had been completed since I never approved the original proof. After that message, communication stopped again and I have not received the album or any tracking information. At this point I am simply trying to receive the finished album that was included in the package I paid for. I hope this can finally be resolved, but after several years of trying to communicate and seeing reviews from so many others having this same issue, I don't have high hopes. I'll be escalating this to the Ohio Attorney General and BBB. read more

I would not recommend Cleveland boudoir at all!! I spoke with Leah through email she quoted me a special for $79, I agreed and inquired about booking. She then asked me why I needed the photos I told her I was looking to have photos on my website updated. She then stated that if I was going to be making money off "her images" that she needed to be paid $100 per image. I was like what??? I'm no newbie at boudoir so I questioned her motives she replied with " I don't tell you how to give blow jobs in cheap hotel rooms don't tell me how to do my job" I was in shock is this really how she talks to potential clients?? Her work is mediocre I was honestly settling glad I dodged a bullet. Update: miss Leah is now threatening me with a law suit for my honest review. I only just now read her past reviews. She is unprofessional and needs to be replaced worst customer service experience ever!!! read more

First of all, let me say that I am very pleased with the quality of the actual photos. Jenny was my photographer and she was fantastic! However, my disappointment comes with regard to the business part of the business. It took me four months to get my actual album, when it was supposed to take only a couple of weeks. What frustrated me further was that I emailed Leah every week for over a month and never got any response. I also left five voice mails and was getting to the point where I thought we were going to have to take legal action in order to get the photos that I had paid for four months prior! I am pretty sure the only reason I ended up finally receiving my album was because my husband dropped by the studio unannounced. The woman who answered the door said she had never received any of my emails or voice mails and that she put the album in the mail a month ago. She said she would email us the tracking number that evening (we never received any email). I did eventually receive the album 3 days later via Express 2-day delivery, but it was just the album, no note or anything to apologize or explain the extreme tardiness... So, for that reason, even though the photos were wonderful, I cannot recommend Cleveland Boudoir. read more

Her work is really fantastic, but communication is a total F. Paid a $60 deposit for a mini-session and then my husband's job was downsized. Reached out to see if I could either get a refund on my deposit or apply toward another session. Some small talk back-and-forth resulted in exactly nothing. Disappointed in the overall lack of customer service and if you have an absolute policy on non-refundable deposits, there should be a disclaimer. No communication past a couple of non-confirmed dates that she provided me for availability. Would book for the quality of work, but wouldn't bank on good communication with her. If you're too busy to respond to so many inquiries, should consider hiring an assistant. Total shame that I'm out money and still have no resolution. Consider booking with another talented boudoir photographer in CLE. read more

I have to start this review out by saying that my pictures turned out beautifully. The quality was wonderful and my husband loves the photos. The photographer and make up artist/hair stylist were amazing and so fun! The photoshoot was great and I am pleased with the actual results. This is why my review is a little mixed. Though I am pleased with the the experience of the actual photoshoot and the quality of my pictures--the professional decorum of the owner was very disappointing. I made sure to schedule the photoshoot enough in advance that I would receive my pictures in time to give my now husband a gift on our wedding day. Everything went smoothly up until after I paid for the pictures at my viewing session. The communication of the business owner is very poor. I scheduled a time with Leah to pick up my DVD at the studio, which is not a convenient drive for me. When I arrived there, she was not there. When I finally reached her on the phone, she explained that she had some personal issues that arose that day and did not remember to contact me. I was a little annoyed, but I was understanding that things happen. She said she would mail out the DVD to me that coming Monday. I did not receive an e-mail until Wednesday stating that she had mailed out the DVD. Included in that e-mail, she was thoughtful enough to send electronic copies of my pictures, which is the only reason I was able to get my pictures to my husband as a gift on the day of our wedding. Over a week later, I had not yet received the DVD. I was very concerned someone else had received it or that it had gotten lost. After sending several e-mails to her, she finally responded stating that they had been sent back to her due to the wrong stamp based on the weight. She said she would have a tracking number for me the next day--she did not. I finally got my package the DAY of my wedding in the evening, which I was obviously not home for. Throughout this whole ordeal a lot of things were disappointing, but what was most disconcerting is that one of my final e-mails expressed my disappointment in the service I was getting--which did not elicit a response. I feel like a business owner should try to do some sort of damage control when receiving an e-mail saying that a client is disappointed in their business. Especially after such horrible communication with a paying customer. So, take this review as you will. The pictures and photoshoot were great, but the decorum of the business owner was terrible. Maybe this would be a good option for you if you don't have a deadline for a gift, but I certainly would not recommend it. read more

I have been considering a boudoir shoot for years and I probably emailed close to 10 times over 3 years asking about a session. I finally decided to bite the bullet and do the shoot because my 5 year wedding anniversary was quickly approaching and NO more excuses! Before the shoot, Leah was so helpful answering all my questions and sending over a lot of really helpful information. She even did some online shopping for me when I couldn't find what I was looking for. Before the shoot I did book hair and makeup and this is a must for anyone deciding to come in! What a wonderful experience this was- and relaxing. I let Ramona work her magic and trusted her with colors and hair styling. Love doesn't even begin to describe. The session and everything after for me was amazing. I don't think I could even really explain how I felt during and after and leading into my viewing session. I felt so much confidence building during the session itself (and was easier than I had thought it would be). They'll guide you through all the poses and the studio btw is gorgeous! I looked at a lot of studios and I loved that this was private, not a hotel or my home. The furnishings are gorgeous and there are so many options, including a room just for you to change in full of jewelry, lingerie and shoes! I loved my experience and the staff was so wonderful. My album came in within 8 days of of viewing so 2 weeks in total from my session date and I was blown away! Ok so I was nervous to try this but the ladies made me super comfortable. I had hair and make up done and I'm so glad I did! I looked like a model which I'll be honest takes skill! Haha! They allowed me to use some of their outfits which was nice because I don't really have much. The pictures were done quickly and I received my album within a few weeks. Leah was my wedding photographer and was a huge disappointment. Crazy lies and excuses about why it took so long to get my photos were just one thing. How about I got about 150 photos from 5 hours of shooting? How about out of a 60 person wedding, 75% of the guests aren't in any of the shots? How about when I expressed my displeasure with her, she told me she shouldn't have done my wedding because she was already so "over" being a wedding photographer? This chick is a mess and should really consider a business where someone who is actual mature and responsible is in charge. Ramona, Jessica and Leah were so sweet and didn't act like they were at their "job" even though they were very professional! However more so, they were personable. They make you feel so comfortable. I hired Leah as a photographer for my wedding in September 2010. I thought about writing a review of my experience at the time, but decided against - after a recent search of her company out of sheer boredom and seeing recent, poor reviews I decided to share my experience as well. First off, her company name has changed a number of times since she started her business - first Leah Stafford Photography, then Leah Stinson Photography, then Leah Aubrey Photography, then Intimate Boudoir by Leah, and now it is Cleveland Boudoir. No wonder she keeps changing it - she doesn't want the bad reviews to follow. It was in my contract that she would show up with two photographers, and instead she showed up with her boyfriend at the time who barely knew how to operate a camera. She was EXTREMELY slow with getting me my pictures after my wedding. It took numerous unanswered e-mails, phone calls and text messages to finally get my pictures, nearly 6 months later - only because I threatened hiring a lawyer. I didn't even receive the parent album I paid for until about 10 months after my wedding. She just doesn't know how to run a business and is extremely unprofessional. STAY AWAY from Leah Stafford/Stinson/Aubrey/Cleveland Boudoir or whatever the current name is - as other reviewers mentioned, there are other options in Cleveland, and much better ones. read more

I was very excited to do this boudoir photo session for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. I did the shoot in December. I was promised my photo's in 4-6 weeks. After 8 weeks, I finally got a response to my many e-mails to the owner. She stated some ridiculous/unbelievable reason why I had not yet received my photo's. She also could not find my order form with the photo's I selected for the very expensive book I ordered, so I had to re-select photo's. I ended up telling my boyfriend what he was supposed to receive, and why he had not received it. He then emailed the owner, who immediately responded to him with condescending, unprofessional comments, she even mocked him. She did offer, and send my photos in a Dollar Store floppy photo book until she supposedly got her shipment of photo books in. We received that in April!!! WAY past Valentine's Day! I never did receive my photo's in the photo book I ordered and paid for. Thank goodness my credit card company investigated my complain and refunded all my money! I would NOT recommend this company. I unfortunately had similar a similar experience dealing with Leah that many of the other reviewers had. She came across wonderfully in my initial meeting with her but things quickly went downhill. She showed up at my wedding with a friend that she claimed was her second photographer but I don't think that friend took any pictures. My bridesmaids later told me that Leah was saying she didn't even want to be there...I paid her plenty of money to be there! I had to beg her for pictures after a few months and then got about 100 less than what was promised in the contract. Oh and no reception pictures! I don't have a single picture of me dancing with my husband or father. I asked her about this and she came up with excuse after excuse. Finally after 8 months and the threat of a lawsuit she admitted she didn't have any pictures from the reception. Leah has changed her company name so many times (I'm sure due the bad reviews) and it makes me so mad that she's still out there duping people. Please do not do business with her! read more

I submitted my photo to be in a free shoot including hair and makeup for Leah's website. Days later I get an email that I was selected out of over 200 ladies in the area. The shoot would be a romantic/fireplace setting. I was THRILLED! I had never had professional photographs taken besides my wedding and after having a baby a year ago I was ready to do something fun for me. So I replied back to her thanking her so much for the oppurtunity and that I was really excited. Days later she emailed me back with details such as the date (few weeks from the time I was chosen) a consent form and a questionaire that I had to fill out. I returned it right away and waited to hear back. In the meantime I started looking online for lingerie (3 outfits) and some other questions came up. I haven't heard from her so I emailed her with my questions so I wouldn't forget. One of my main questions was so will I get a cd or file or a few prints from this? Don't get me wrong I was grateful to get the experience but wouldn't it be nice to have something to take home to my husband that is used to seeing me with my hair in a ponytail and in yoga pants? So she got snippy with me and said did you read anything I sent you? It's very important you read it, the images/packages start at $600." You must be out of your mind! Ok I get it, you are probably used to answering the same types of questions but most are new at this and just like some reassurance especially since this was free and I was doing it for me but for her website too. So I said yeah I read it all. Just thought I would go home with at least one image didn't think that was a lot to ask for. It just seemed like she was too lazy to go over anything with me. Anyway, didn't hear from her after that go figure it's now getting closer..type her a Facebook message, she read it that day didn't respond. I waited a day then wrote a comment on her lovely Facebook group page that I was in after she wrote a post saying she will be taking time off for the next 5 days. So I make a comment on there for everyone to see how unprofessional she is. I said Hi Leah, just wondering if you got my last email and Facebook message? If You could please let me know what time I should be at the model shoot that would be great! Want to Catch You Before you go on vacation! Thank you! Of course I was being sarcastic and knew I wasn't going to waste my time with her but right away she messaged me and removed my comment. She wrote " I got your message. I need a few days to decide where I should proceed with this." Wow. Haven't heard from her since. That was a week ago. I guess it was a blessing in disguise. If that's how She treats People & runs her Business, I'll pass, count Me OUT! If you read the other reviews you will see the other experiences were very similar to mine. She doesn't care how she treats people, her prices are ridiculous and most of all she's unprofessional. read more
