My overall experience with MyStaff was excellent! I had the pleasure to work with Stephanie…read more Stephanie was very professional, has a great sense of humor and very helpful. I love how all the staff members came and said hello to me, and also how they all gave me congrats when I was put on assignment. The place is very nice, clean, and the offer decorations is very nice. I also loved how they have you prepare a Resume, come in and talk to you about it so they can make sure they find you something with a great fit. After being in retail so long, I wanted to step out to do something different with my career field that would allow me to focus on my business. I recommend this company with high regards. Please reach out if you are looking for a professional company to work with.

Everybody seemed helpful and polite, and getting signed up was easy. I found a better position…read moreelsewhere, and put in my notice - and was promptly fired (though they phrased it as "accepting resignation immediately"). Granted, it was the client of Remedy that fired me - Remedy should still act like a decent company and pay the remaining wages for the time I would have worked. In fact, that's exactly what their client does for their direct employees. The big problem here is that if you read the Remedy handbook, it states that if you don't leave sufficient notice, your last paycheck will be paid AT MINIMUM WAGE. However, as is all too common, if you give notice, you can be immediately terminated. To add even more fun to the mix, the state of Nebraska does not pay the first week of unemployment when a claim is filed. That means if you do give notice, thinking you'll be paid either by work, severance, or unemployment - you'll probably be fired, not receive severance, and at best will receive one week of unemployment - which doesn't pay much. So, while I did appreciate the staff and the simplicity of the process of working for Remedy, I'm left feeling screwed over and upset about it. If you decide to work here, and not one of the many other temp agencies in Omaha, just be aware that it's probably going to sting your wallet or purse when you leave. If you don't give notice, you get minimum wage. If you do give notice, you can get fired on the spot. Just make sure you don't have rent or bills due.

Last night, I received an email from Lillian Griffith about a potential job opportunity. I'm not…read moreactively searching for a job but I'm open to hear what else is out there and curious about this position. So I bite. She texts me today and sets up a 2pm call. Then is late for the call. How very unprofessional. Strike one. When she finally calls, she comes off as very disorganized and unpolished. She reads the job description very quickly. Does not enunciate. Mispronounces several basic words. She's literally bumbling through the whole spiel and is dodgy/shady about specifics. Repetitive. She sounds like a high schooler who has to give a presentation in front of the class but desperately doesn't want to, trying to get this over with as fast as possible. Same energy. I have to ask her several times to tell me who the employer is and it's like pulling teeth. She FINALLY gives up the employer, but why withhold basic information like that? So sketchy. Red flags are going off. Strike two. Then she proceeds to tell me she NEEDS to know my current salary bc she wants to make sure that the employer's rate (which is clearly posted within the job description) isn't "too much of a jump" from what I currently make. Um, what?! 1) It's absolutely NO ONE'S business what my current salary is and I'm not going to be disclosing that information to anyone. 2) The salary for this position is posted so my current salary is irrelevant. 3) I literally don't even know this woman and she begins bullying me into giving her this very personal information. She sounds like she has zero clue what she's even doing, which gives me even more pause to disclose any more information about myself. Even if there was "a significant jump" between my current salary and their offering salary, isn't that to be expected when you're taking a higher-ranking position? She proceeds to talk over me when I'm asking for clarification, interrupts me repeatedly and becomes argumentative until I just hang up. I've had more than enough of this harassment and shadiness. Strike three. She then texts me to continue arguing with me, clearly unhinged, and I finally had to ask her nicely to stop text messaging me. Who does that?! My hanging up the call wasn't a clear enough message?! So she continues to harass me via text?! She was completely unprofessional, psychotic and rude. I've never worked with a staffing agency before and this was far from a good experience. If Lillian is a reflection on how things are done at Cornerstone, they might want to reevaluate their business model and training methods. She is a poor reflection on their company and a liability to potential employers. You don't need to BULLY potential candidates into giving you their certainly personal information when it's not necessary.
