My experience... Initial Consultation…read more.. I was referred to DR. Kohli via my primary care physician. I went for my initial consultation which I told him that my father had heart issues and my sister had died within the last month at 50 years old from a massive heart attack. I mentioned that I'd had shortness of breath and some chest pain. His staff did the initial EKG while just sitting and he later came in and said that he noticed something that he'd like to look into and asked me to come back for a stress test. Stress test... I come in, I do the stress test with his staff and Dr. Kohli comes in and only says "looks good" and attempts to shake my hand. I'm assuming he wanted me to accept those comments and proceed to leave. I immediately ask, "what does look good mean"? Can you provide some details about the results. He then says, "Results look good, if you want more detailed results you will need to schedule an appointment for 2 weeks." At this point I am beyond frustrated, but I politely walk out to the front to schedule the next appointment for 2 weeks. I told the lady at the desk what happened and that I wanted to schedule an appointment for results in 2 weeks and she says "Dr. Kohli usually give results the day of the stress test. Let me go speak with him." When she comes back, she says "he would like to see you again in 2 months." At this point, I had already determined that I would not be coming back here. Even as I write this review, I don't know if he could read the EKG because he used any verbiage or gave professional doctor type of response that would imply, he was educated on EKG results. All he said was "LOOKS GOOD". I guess I was expecting him to provide something along the lines of talking about my heart rate, explaining what a good EKG range is and why mine appears to be good, etc... but no he provided nothing. I feel like I could've purchased an Apple watch with the EKG feature that would've to me than he did. I don't know if he treats all his patience this way or just middle age black men... but I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM. Go somewhere else where they treat you like a person with concerns and not an appointment for payment.
