It is very expensive, especially when you are overcharged. It is about double the price of other well equipped gyms. Problems with membership can be difficult to sort out, particularly when the management are 'unavailable'. Access to the facilities is often denied, without them notifying you, which makes one feel like a criminal that hasn't paid. I also found that a couple of the staff were very sleazy; however the majority of them were friendly and accommodating. To sum it up, I believe the place is badly run. I would not recommend it to anyone.

In terms of stadiums, Windsor Park is one of the best in the League. It's not the newest, nor does it have the best stands, but it has the most seats, which is very important when it comes to the international games and the Green and White army need to show their support (but you just said you support Cliftonville and now your praising the NI fans :O:O:O maybe sectarianism might not be dead, but it's dying!). It also has as full Uefa Licence which means a lot of the smaller clubs would use their ground for European competitions. I went to a few of these with Cliftonville and never had one problem. It was a good day out and fair play to Linfield for offering their ground for clubs which do not have the required facilities.

Generally people with…read morethe worst views on irish league football are one's who've never been through the gate once or on a regular basis or if they have, they've been to some big derby game and heard a few big boys sing a line or two that they deem offensive. I've grown up with irish league football and due to my families location and birthplaces, we've all been brought up wearing the blue of Linfield. I can only thank my upbringing for that. I will readily admit that the standard of play doesn't match what you can pay for in the comfort of your living room. I have found the people who enjoy watching football live and following a team are a completely different breed to the casual centrally heated remote control plastics who generally adopt an English city as they're rightful birthplace during their primary school days. Once they become all-knowing, after digesting a few episodes of soccer am and football focus, they readily and regularly trash the game on our very doorstep. Now recently (the last few seasons) I've been encouraging friends to come to at least one game per season, a challenge that a few have taken up and they will admit themselves that they've been surprised at how much they've enjoyed it. Now I now I'm still being general so I'll turn my attention to Linfield. Linfield have a long and proud history, a working class protestant background from Sandy Row. This is something that no Linfield supporter is ashamed of but is something that is often made into a big stick to beat the club with. Linfield is easily the most mixed side in the league, with a number of club legends being from Catholic backgrounds. The general feeling of todays Linfield supporters is if they pull on that blue shirt and play their guts out, then that is the most important thing. One only has to spend a few minutes on the official Linfield site to find the strides that the Linfield management committee have introduced to eradicate a societal problem that has plagued many an irish league club, not only Linfield. Thankfully supporting Linfield nowadays is a far cry from even 15 years ago. Unfortunately the crowds are a lot less than then but with grounds all improving and prices staying very reasonable, Windsor Park is a great place for all football supporters to come to to enjoy something local, something you can be proud of and something of a real belonging.

T13 is a multi functional sports and events facility in the heart of the Titanic Quarter. Basically…read moreit's an old H & W warehous that has been converted to host some of Belfast's most unique events and a whole range of extreme sports. Sports include BMX, Skateboard and Scooter clubs. I visited T13 as part of Enter Conf yesterday and this was my first time in the warehouse. I was shocked about it's size and it's versatility. The organisers used the space excellently and the contrast between cutting edge enterprise and technology and Belfast's industrial roots was fantastic. The whole place is covered in artistic graffiti that depicts Belfast's heritage - it's worth going to T13 just to see the art. I read yesterday that T13 is going through a minor refurbishment at the moment and will re-open with a new schedule in July so keep your eyes peeled for upcoming events in one of Belfast's most interesting and exciting spaces.
