I had my first massage with them today and was impressed with the atmosphere of the room as well as the therapists ability to communicate in English. At first glance the outer building looks run down and like something straight out of the 70's. Upon entering there is a typical salon style counter and small waiting area. However, when they take you upstairs you start an entirely different experience. The stairs are lined red carpet which leads to very clean and beautiful massage rooms and salon rooms. The room I received my massage in was made for couples and had a zen-like atmosphere. The music was perfect, like listening to a rain forest in the background. They also had a cedar sauna in the room you could use if you purchased that package. My massage therapist was wonderful. She listened to my requests for the intensity and relaxation of the massage and handled it perfectly. I can hardly wait to return for my next experience.

My Italian is horrible, so the first person I met was the Patient Liaison on duty, Andrea Hargreaves. She was everything that I needed to express myself and understand the hospital's responses. She stayed with me for each of the doctor's consults, treatments, results, and recommendations. I also met her shift replacement, Nancy Malone. My experience with the doctors and staff was excellent, but would have been very daunting without Ms. Hargreaves' and Ms. Malone's support and communication. Their English and Italian skills were super, and their knowledge of hospital procedures, and their demeanor and support were appreciated very much. If I ever have to return to the San Bortolo ER for any reason in the future, I'm relieved that these two professionals are there to assist. Thank you, ladies!

I have had chronic back issues for last 20 years due to over 20 marathons and years of military service. I first reached to Dr. De Luca in 2014 after my first assignment to VMC. His level of professionalism, rates and willingness to accommodate a fluid schedule were 2nd only to the relief and improvement I experienced after weekly/bi-weekly adjustments. I did not fully appreciate his gift until the summer of 2020 when I returned to NYC and started adjustments locally. His English is perfect, and I strongly recommend his services.

It is not uncommon in Italy to be asked to disrobe while the doctor waits patiently in the room with you. Also, it is common to not have anything to cover up with (no gown or sheet). However, the doctor had a partition and provided a sheet. These are just some of the little things that westerners are used to and it helps ease the GYN visit for us to have them available. I typically say "When in Rome...", but sometimes it's nice to have someone be considerate of where you are coming from. I would highly recommend this office for any of your OB/GYN needs.
