My wife was referred to this Quest Diagnostics location by her OB-GYN for a pregnancy-related blood…read moresugar test. This was not our first time using Quest. She has been there multiple times over the years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. We planned everything carefully because this test was important for her pregnancy and needed to be completed before a major appointment next Thursday. About four weeks ago, we called Quest and specifically asked whether an appointment was required. We were told multiple times that no appointment was needed. We called again this week to confirm, and once again we were told to simply arrive between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM because the test takes about an hour with samples taken before and after. So that's exactly what we did. We drove 45 minutes to get there with my pregnant wife and our 2-year-old child, arriving before 10:00 AM. When we checked in, we noticed the next available appointment on the screen was already around 11:30 AM. We asked the front desk for clarification, and that's when we were told they do NOT perform this specific test on Saturdays at all. We were shocked and confused because their own staff had instructed us multiple times to come in on Saturday without an appointment. We explained that we had confirmed everything beforehand because we wanted to avoid exactly this type of situation. What made the experience even worse was that one employee actually recommended we go to a competitor instead because they perform the test on Saturdays. Imagine driving 45 minutes to a medical appointment during a pregnancy, after confirming multiple times with their office, only to be told to try another company. Instead of taking responsibility, the staff blamed a "centralized system" and said they no longer have employees directly handling scheduling there. We were then told to speak with the doctor onsite, who ultimately decided not to accommodate us despite the mistake clearly coming from their office and scheduling system. This completely disrupted our plans and may now delay important pregnancy-related appointments and results. We specifically planned around this appointment, arranged childcare logistics, and drove a long distance based on incorrect information provided by Quest staff themselves. The lack of communication, accountability, empathy, and support for a pregnant patient was extremely frustrating. If you are expecting reliable scheduling or accurate information from this location, be very careful and triple-check everything because apparently even their own staff does not know which tests they perform or when.

LONGEST, unorganized wait EVER! Please set appointment or just find another clinic!…read more Drug testing should not be more than an hour wait. Tons of elderly patients that sit and wait for long periods of time. Unacceptable. I can also hear the physicians laughing about the wait.

No biggie. She was very nice but stuck me in places that I've never been stuck at before. She stuck the first time, couldn't get any blood to flow. Then moved to the other arm and stuck a second time which REALLY hurt. She couldn't get the second poke to get any blood so she called in reinforcements which just so happen to be the lady i had the first time i went. The new lady stuck me a third time and was able to get my samples and i barely felt the third time. I'm usually never one to complain but the fact that i bruised like this after not even after 24 hours, that's a real inconvenience. I wish i had received somebody's name but just know if you are going to get blood drawn PLEASE request the lady with the tattoos to make the process pain free. Because i literally started bruising up a few hours after i left. Even my first pole had a small bruise but this one was the worse. This picture is the next morning.

This is very hard for me to share, but wanted to warn everyone out there who plans to come here for…read moremedical care. I came to Dr. Lopez as a new patient and the first visit went fine since it was a routine physical. The staff was super friendly and I cannot fault them for the treatment I got following this visit. I unfortunately fell ill and came back to see what was wrong. Dr. Lopez asked me to take a test and told me to go ahead to take antibiotics since he was certain I was sick with what he thought I had. I started taking the antibiotics and of course, the test came back negative. I remained ill so I saw him again, he was convinced still had the same illness and that I took the swab test wrong the first time. We had to redo the test, but I was feeling uneasy and told him if we should go ahead and take another test to be sure. He didn't listen to me and told me to start the antibiotics again because he was certain I was sick with what he originally said. Again, I went through the antibiotics trusting Dr. Lopez. Results came back negative again. At this point, I have already done through two strong rounds of antibiotics that my body didn't need due to Dr. Lopez's misdiagnoses. I became severely sick following this and had to go to another doctor where they told me my body was basically negatively reacting to the antibiotics I didn't need. I had a fever, stomach problems, and then a severe skin rash for days now weeks. I have called Dr. Lopez multiple times to ask for any sort of reimbursement or acknowledgment and have received little help. As a matter of fact, I've been talking to his administration and not even him. Shows how much he cares, huh? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE seek another medical professional for serious needs. I hope no one has to go through what I went suffered.

I'm starting to really wonder how he has such high praise online, the reason for my coming to him. What Dr. Lopez seems to have going for him is only that he caters to a Spanish-speaking audience. Other than that, terrible bedside manner and absolutely awful customer service. The word I can best think to describe him is "jerk." In addition to being insensitive and hard-headed, he's also ignorant of basic medical practices. Steer clear of this place and find someone else locally instead!

I'm sure the actual experience is just fine, but there is no real person to check in patients…read more There are two self check in kiosks and a tv. If you have an appointment then you're set. If you're a walk in then you're set for a LONG wait. The biggest issue is their speed. They serve up to three patients at a time from what I can tell, but there are times when they are assisting zero people at a time (as displayed on the tv). On average I saw one person be called in every 8 minutes or so. That's the same pace as the place I used to go to in California that had only one person working! I originally was going to give two stars but increased when they allowed all checked in patients to be seen even after their closing time of 5pm. Awesome that they stay late to help everybody. I was leaving the country the following day and needed my labs done to receive a medication that I would run out of upon my return. Was very concerned if I wasn't seen i'd have to go several days without this daily med. Thanks healthcare workers

First of all, I highly recommend setting an appointment ahead of time (as soon as possible since slots fill up pretty fast). My first visit took over an hour and a half without an appointment (Flower Mound location), while my second (scheduled) visit only took about 20-25 minutes (Hurst location at the hospital). You can also check in online if you schedule an appointment. If you have to do any testing multiple times I recommend creating an account if you want to save some time. Most of the time spent here is in the waiting room. The process itself goes pretty quickly.
